Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh variabel penanaman modal asing, pertumbuhan ekonomi, kemiskinan serta pendidikan terhadap ketimpangan pendapatan di Indonesia. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi data panel, dari hasil pengujian diperoleh nilai koefisien determinasi 2 untuk model fixed effect sebesar 0,4378. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan variabel bebas dalam menjelaskan variabel dependen sebesar 43,78%. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa secara serentak penanaman modal asing, pertumbuhan ekonomi, kemiskinan dan pendidikan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap ketimpangan pendapatan, dengan hasil uji F statistik / prob (F-statistic) yaitu sebesar 0,0000. Sedangkan hasil uji t-statistik menunjukkan bahwa variabel penanaman modal asing bepengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap ketimpangan pendapatan, lain halnya dengan pertumbuhan ekonomi, kemiskinan dan pendidikan yang berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap ketimpangan pendapatan.
English Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of variables of foreign investment, economic growth, poverty and education on income inequality in Indonesia. The analytical tool used is panel data regression, from the test results obtained the coefficient of determination 2 for the fixed effect model of 0.4378. This shows that the ability of independent variables to explain the dependent variable is 43.78%. The results of the study concluded that simultaneously foreign investment, economic growth, poverty and education have a significant effect on income inequality, with the results of the F / statistic test (F-statistic) which is equal to 0.0000. While the results of the t-statistic test show that the variables of foreign investment have a negative and not significant effect on income inequality, as is the case with economic growth, poverty and education which have a positive and significant effect on income inequality.
