Abstract
Unit Aktivitas Band Universitas Brawijaya (UAB UB) adalah sebuah unit kegiatan mahasiswa (UKM) yang menaungi kegiatan mahasiswa di bidang musik, organisasi dan manajemen event. UAB UB memiliki website yang dipergunakan untuk media publikasi dan menyebarkan informasi mengenai program kerja maupun informasi mengenai UAB UB. Penggunaan website UAB UB juga untuk menyebarkan informasi mengenai event yang diselenggarakan oleh UAB mulai dari skala dalam kampus maupun nasional. Pentingnya meningkatkan user experience dalam website dengan menganalisis permasalahan yang ada dan memunculkan rekomendasi yang berguna untuk mempertahankan pengguna lama dan menambah pengguna baru agar informasi dapat tersebar secara luas. Tujuan dari penilitian ini adalah menganalisis dan merancang ulang UX website UAB UB untuk meningkatkan UX menggunakan metode Focus Group Disccusion dan Extended Goal Question Metric. Focus Group Disccusion digunakan untuk menganalisis permasalahan yang ada pada website UAB UB yang selanjutnya di masukan pada metrik Extended Goal Question Metric untuk menentukan goal apa yang akan dicari. Setelah ditemukan hasil dari analisis dan memunculkan rekomendasi, lalu dilakukan perbaikan pada website UAB UB. Perbaikan dilakukan mengacu pada permasalahan yang ada dan rekomendasi yang menjawab permasalahan serta mengacu pada guidelines HHS. Pada saat pengukuran user experience menggunakan perhitungan User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) dengan 6 variabel yaitu Attractiveness, Perpicuity, Efficiency, Dependability, Stimulation, Novelty. Sebagai hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pengukuran pada UEQ desain lama dengan UEQ desain baru pada desain lama item “Kreatif” mendapatkan nilai terendah sedangkan pada desain baru item “Mendukung” mendapatkan nilai tertinggi. Sedangkan selisih kenaikan positif pada desain lama ke desain baru yang paling tinggi adalah item “Mengasyikkan”.
English Abstract
Band Activity Unit of Brawijaya University (UAB UB) is a student activity unit that oversees student activities in the field of music, organization and event management. UAB UB has a website that is used for publication media and disseminates information about work programs and information about UAB UB. The use of the UAB UB website is also to disseminate information about events organized by UAB UB starting form the scale on campus and nationally. The importance of increasing user experience on the website is by analyzing existing problems and generating recommendations that are useful for maintaining old user and adding new users so that information can be spread. The purpose of this research is to analyze and redesign UX UAB UB website to improve UX using Focus Group Disccusion and Extended Goal Question Metric to determine whar goals to look for. After finding the result of the analysis and raising recommendations, an improvement was made on the UAB UB website. Improvements were made referring to the existing problems and recommwndations that answered the problem and referred to th HHS guidelines. When measuring user experience using the calculation of User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) with 6 variables, namely Attractiveness, Perpicuity, Efficiency, Dependability, Stimulation, Novelty. As a result of the study it was found that there was an increase in measurements on the old design UEQ with the new design UEQ on the old design of the item “Creative” getting the lowest value while the item “Supporting” got the highest value. While the positive increase in difference in the old design to the highest new design is the “Exciting” item.
