Abstract

Lobak ialah tanaman yang termaksud dalam familia Brassicaceae. Bentuk umbi lobak seperti wortel, isi dan kulit berwarna putih. Tanaman lobak berasal dari negeri Cina, tetapi telah banyak dibudidayakan di Indonesia. Tanaman dapat tumbuh pada dataran rendah maupun tinggi (pegunungan), rasanya manis, sedikit pedas, berkhasiat tonik.(Sekar, 2011). Pemberian pupuk organik dapat meningkatkan kandungan hara baik yang tergolong unsur hara makro maupun mikro tanah (Mujiyati,2009).Kascing ialah bahan organik yang mengandung unsur hara yang lengkap, baik unsur hara makro maupun mikro yang berguna bagi pertumbuhan tanaman.Oleh karena itu penulis tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian mengenai pengaruh pupuk kascing terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil dua varietas tanaman lobak putih (Raphanus sativus L). Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah mengetahui dan mempelajari pengaruh pupuk kascing terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil dua varietas lobak putih (Raphanus sativus L). Hipotesis dari penelitian ini ialah dosis Pupuk kascing berpengaruh terhada hasil dua varietas tanaman lobak putih (Raphanus sativus L ). Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan di lahan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Brawijaya, Kelurahan Jatimulyo, Kecamatan Lowokwaru, Kota Malang.penelitian ini menggunakan metode rancangan acak kelompok sederhana dengan 8 perlakuan,yaitu: P0V1 : kontrol dan varietas radish grand long. P1V1: perlakuan pupuk kascing 50 g polibag-1 dan varietas radish grand long. P2V1 : perlakuan pupuk kascing 100 g polibag- 1dan varietas radish grand long. P3V1: perlakuan pupuk kascing 150 g polibag-1 dan varietas radish grand long. P0V2: kontrol dan varietas chinese radish long P1V2: perlakuan pupuk kascing 50 g polibag-1 dan varietas radish grand long P2V2: pupuk kascing 100 g polibag-1 dan varietas chinese radish long P3V2: pupuk kascing 150 g polibag-1 dan varietas chinese radish long. Pengamatan meliputi luas daun per tanaman, jumlah daun per tanaman, diameter umbi panen, panjang umbi panen dan bobot umbi panen. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan uji F (analisis ragam) pada taraf 5% untuk mengetahui pengaruh perlakuan pupuk kascing. Apabila terdapat pengaruhnya dilakukan pengujian lebih lanjut dengan menggunakan uji Beda Nyata Terkecil pada taraf 5 %. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perlakuan beberapa dosis pupuk kascing pada dua varietas tanaman lobak putih memberikan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap parameter hasil tanaman. Perlakuan dosis pupuk kascing 100 g polibag-1 memberikan hasil yang paling baik pada komponen panjang umbi, diameter umbi dan bobot umbi dua varietas tanaman lobak putih. Perlakuan beberapa dosis pupukkascing tidak memberikan hasil yang berbeda nyata terhadapat parameter pertumbuhan yang meliputi jumlah daun dan luas daun varietas radish grand long dan chinese radish long tanaman lobak putih.

English Abstract

Radish is a plant that is referred to in familia Brassicaceae. The shape of radish tubers such as carrots, fill and white skin. Radish plants originated from China, but have been widely cultivated in Indonesia. Plants can grow in lowland and high (mountain), sweet taste, slightly spicy, nutritious tonic (Sekar, 2011). the application of organic fertilizer can increase the nutrient content of both macro and micro nutrients Kascing is an organic material containing complete nutrients, both macro and micro nutrients are useful for plant growth. Therefor the authors interested in doing research on the effect of kascing fertilizer on growth and yield of two varieties of white radish plant (Raphanus sativus L). The purpose of this research is to know and study the effect of kascing fertilizer on growth and yield of two varieties of white radish (Raphanus sativus L). Hypothesis of this research is kascing fertilizer influence to growth and yield of two varieties of white radish plant (Raphanus sativus L). This research was conducted in the field of Faculty of Agriculture University of Brawijaya, Jatimulyo Subdistrict, Lowokwaru Subdistrict, Malang City. This research used simple randomized block design with 8 acts, namely: P0V1: control and radish grand long varieties. P1V1: 50 g polibag-1 and radish grand long. P1V2: 100 g polibag-1 fertilizer treatment and radish grand long varieties. P3V1: 150 g polibag-1 fertilizer treatment and radish grand long varieties. P0V2: contro and chinese radish varieties P1V2: treatment of kascing fertilizer 50 g polibag-1 and chinese radish long. P2V2: treatment of kascing fertilizer 100 g polibag-1 and chinese radish long varieties. P3V2: treatment of kascing fertilizer 150 g polibag-1 and chinese radish long varieties. Observation include leaf area, number of leaf plant, tuber diameter, tuber length and tuber weight. The data obtained were analyzed by F test (multiform analysis) at 5% level to know the effect of kascing fertilizer treatment. If any effect is done further testing using the test of Honest Real Difference at 5% level Based on the results of the study showed that the treatment of several doses of vermicompost fertilizer on two varieties of white radish plants had a significant effect on the yield parameters of the plants. The treatment of 100 g of vermicompost dosage fertilizer gave the best results on the tuber length component, tuber diameter and tuber weights of two varieties of white radish plants. The treatment of several doses of vermicompost fertilizer did not give significantly different results on growth parameters which included the number of leaves and leaf area of radish grand long varieties and Chinese radish long radish plants.
