Abstract

Jagung merupakan salah satu jenis tanaman sereal penting ditanam dan dikonsumsi didunia dengan hasil potensial. Berbagai hasil potensial berupa kemampuan beradaptasi terhadap lingkungan, memiliki nilai gizi tinggi. Di Brazil, sekitar 79 juta ton jagung diproduksi dengan hasil mencapai 14 ton per hektar dalam kondisi pembudidayaan.Penentuan keberhasilan produksi jagung juga ditentukan dari manajemen input pertanian berupa sarana prasarana dan aplikasi pupuk. Berdasar uraian diatas bahwa perlakuan kedalaman tanah belum menjadi pusat kajian ilmuwan pertanian dikarenakan tidak memiliki dampak atau belum ada hasil, namun perlakuan kedalaman tanah dalam pemberuan pupuk memiliki peranan penting dan berkesinambungan dengan takaran pupuk. Pelaksanaan penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Februari 2018 hingga Juli 2018. Aplikasi pupuk anorganik jenis Urea, SP-36 dan Phonska dilakukan di Desa Jeding Kecamatan Junrejo Kota Batu. Penelitian dilakukan pada lahan tegalan. di Desa Jeding Kecamatan Junrejo Kota Batu. Metode penelitian adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 Ulangan pada kedalaman tanah 5cm dan 10 cm sehingga dihasilkan 24 perlakuan. Perlakuan terdidi dari A: Kontrol; B: Pupuk Urea; C: Pupuk SP-36; D: Pupuk Phonska (NPK 15:15:15). Pengamatan yang dilakukan dalam setiap plot meliputi pertumbuhan tanaman, jumlah produksi jagung, dan kandungan hara tanah serta dilakukan saat panen. Pertumbuhan tanaman yang diamati menerapkan metode pengamatan umum dengan mengambil beberapa parameter yaitu tinggi tanaman, panjang tongkol dan berat pipilan 100 butir jagung. Data-data yang diperoleh selama penelitian dilakukan tabulasi menggunakan program Microsoft Excel. Analisis data menggunakan analisis ragam atau Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) menggunakan software Genstat Edisi 10 untuk mengetahui pengaruh dalam data percobaan. Apabila terdapat pengaruh pada data percobaan maka dilakukan uji lanjut menggunakan Uji Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT) dengan taraf 5%. Kombinasi perlakuan berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan nilai pH tanah, N-total, P tersedia dan K-dd tanah dibandingkan dengan hasil analisis tanah awal. Faktor peningkatan nilai parameter sifat kimia tanah adalah kedalaman pemberian pupuk anorganik (pupuk yang digunakan sesuai perlakuan). Pemberian kedalaman pupuk yang diaplikasikan adalah 5 dan 10 cm. Pemberian pupuk pada setiap kedalaman menunjukkan pengaruh tidak nyata terhadap produksi jagung.

English Abstract

Corn is one of the important cereal crops grown and consumed in the world with potential results. Various potential results in the form of the ability to adapt to the environment, have high nutritional value. In Brazil, around 79 million tons of corn are produced with a yield of 14 tons per hectare under cultivation conditions. The determination of the success of corn production is also determined by the management of agricultural inputs in the form of infrastructure and fertilizer applications. Based on the description above that the treatment of soil depth has not been a center of study of agricultural scientists because it has no impact or there has been no results, but the treatment of soil depth in fertilizer application has an important and continuous role with the dose of fertilizer. The research was carried out in February 2018 to July 2018. The application of inorganic fertilizers of Urea, SP-36 and Phonska types was carried out in Jeding Village, Junrejo District, Batu City. The study was conducted on moor land. in Jeding Village, Junrejo District, Batu City. The research method was a randomized block design (RBD) with 4 treatments and 3 replications at a depth of 5cm and 10cm so that 24 treatments were produced. Treatment provided from A: Control; B: Urea Fertilizer; C: SP-36 Fertilizer; D: Phonska Fertilizer (NPK 15:15:15). Observations made in each plot include plant growth, the amount of maize production, and soil nutrient content as well as during harvest. The observed plant growth applied the general observation method by taking several parameters, namely plant height, cob length and grain weight of 100 corn grains. The data obtained during the study were tabulated using the Microsoft Excel program. Data analysis uses analysis of variance or Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) using Genstat 10th Edition software to determine the effect in experimental data. If there is an influence on the experimental data, further tests are carried out using the Least Significant Difference Test (LSD) with a level of 5%. The combination treatment affected the increase in soil pH, total N, available P and K-dd soils compared with the results of the initial soil analysis. The factor to increase the parameter value of soil chemical properties is the depth of inorganic fertilizer (fertilizer used according to treatment). Giving depth of fertilizer applied is 5 and 10 cm. Application of fertilizer at every depth shows no significant effect on maize production.
