Abstract
Agrowisata menjadi salah satu bentuk kegiatan pariwisata yang memanfaatkan usaha pertanian sebagai objek wisata. Kegiatan agrowisata semakin berkembang dan meningkat, membuat masyarakat maupun pengelola usaha membuat sebuah inovasi. Agrowisata petik mawar salah satu agrowisata di Kota Batu yang sedang melakukan pengembangan. Sehingga melalui pengembangan agrowisata tersebut dilakukan inovasi oleh berbagai pihak untuk mencapai tujuan dari agrowisata. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu, (1) menganalisis proses adopsi inovasi dalam pengembangan agrowisata petik mawar, dan (2) menganalisis faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap adopsi inovasi agrowisata petik mawar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Agrowisata Petik Mawar yang berlokasi di Desa Gunung Sari, Kecamatan Bumiaji, Kota Batu. Penentuan responden menggunakan metode saturated sampling yang artinya peneliti telah menetukan satu populasi sebagai sample secara langsung. Sample pada penelitian ini sebanyak 30 petani pengelola agrowisata sebagai responden. Penentuan informan pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode purposive kepada lima orang pihakpihak yang memahami dengan jelas agrowisata petik mawar. Metode analisis yang dipakai adalah metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif dengan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman serta analisis Regresi Logistik yang dibantu oleh alat Stata 14. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi proses adopsi inovasi pada pengelola dalam mengembangkan agrowisata petik mawar. Adapun proses yang dilakukan oleh pengelola meliputi proses tahapan pengetahuan, persuasi, keputusan, implementasi hingga konfirmasi. Proses adopsi inovasi tidak terlepas dari sifat-sifat inovasi dan karateristik petani pengelola dalam menerima inovasi. Hasil Regresi Logistik menunjukkan faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh secara nyata terhadap adopsi inovasi adalah variabel umur dan frekuensi petani mengikuti penyuluhan, karena kedua faktor tersebut memiliki nilai signifikansi dibawah 10%. Saran yang diberikan penulis bagi pengelola agrowisata khususnya BUMDES dapat melakukan pengembangan agrowisata dengan mempertimbangan kebutuhan serta kemampuan petani dalam pengembangan agrowisata petik mawar. Pemerintah khususnya kepada Dinas terkait lebih intensif dalam mengadakan penyuluhan dan pendampingan kepada petani, melihat pada penelitian ini variabel yang signifikan adalah frekuensi petani mengikuti penyuluhan. Petani khususnya yang masih muda dapat lebih aktif dalam pengembangan agrowisata dan dapat mengajak petani muda lainnya ikut berpartisipasi. Peneliti selanjutnya dapat mengambil topik mengenai proses adopsi inovasi di Gunung Sari menggunakan variabel lain yang belum digunakan pada penelitian ini seperti jumlah tanggungan keluarga, hama penyakit dan teknologi.
English Abstract
Agro-tourism becomes a form of tourism activity that utilizes agricultural business as a tourist attraction. Agro-tourism activities are growing and increasing, make the community and business managers create an innovation. One of the most popular agro tourism in Batu is developing. Through the development of agro-tourism is done innovation by various parties to reach the goal of agrotourism. The purpose of this research is that, (1) Analyzing the adoption process of innovation in the development of rose-picking agro-tourism, and (2) analyzing factors that affect the adoption of agro-tourism innovations in rose. This research was carried out in Gunung Sari Village, Bumiaji Sub-district, Batu City. Determination of respondents using saturated sampling method which means that researchers have selected one population as sample directly. The samples in this study as many as 30 agro-tourism managers as respondents. The determination of informant in this research was carried out using a purposive method to five people who clearly understand the agro-tourism of the Rose. The analytical method used is a descriptive qualitative analysis using the interactive model Miles and Huberman, as well as logistic regression analysis assisted by the tool Stata 14. The results of the study show that there was a process of adoption of innovation in the maintainer in developing rose-picking agro-tourism. The process carried out by the organizer includes a process of knowledge, persuasion, decision, implementation until confirmation. The process of adoption of innovation is not detached from the innovations and characteristics of the management farmers in receiving innovation. Logistic regression results show the factors that have a real impact on the adoption of innovation is the variable age and frequency of farmers follow the counseling, because both factors have a significance value of below 10%. Advice given by authors for agro-tourism managers, especially BUMDES can do development by considering the needs and capabilities of farmers in the development of rose-picking agro-tourism. Government in particular to the more intensive agencies in conducting counseling to farmers, looking at this research a significant variable is the frequency of farmers follow the counseling. Farmers in particular who are young can be more active in the development of agro-tourism and can invite other young farmers to participate. Researchers are then able to take a topic about the process of innovation adoption in Gunung Sari using other variables that have not been used in this research such as the number of family liabilities, disease pests and technology.
