Novianti, Rosydatun (2019) Kajian Antagonisme Jamur Endofit pada Daun Tanaman Tebu untuk Menekan Pertumbuhan Jamur Fusarium moniliformae L. Penyebab Penyakit Pokahbung pada Tanaman Tebu (Saccharum officinarum L.). Sarjana thesis, Universitas Brawijaya.
Abstract
English Abstract
Sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum L.) are commodities developed in Indonesia as important commodities for industrial and household needs. In 2016 the national sugar needs reached 6,2 million tons while sugar production was only 2,2 million tons. Factors that affect the low productivity of sugarcane are caused by an attack of disease, one of which is Fusarium moniliformae in sugarcane. Therefore, a control is needed. Control of pokahbung disease can be done in an integrated manner, one of which is by utilizing biological agents, namely endophytic fungi. Endophytic fungi in this study were obtained from the isolation of sugarcane leaves. This experiment was carried out in the Plant Diseases Laboratory, Departement of Pest and Plant Diseases, Faculty of Agriculture, Brawijaya University, Malang. The sampling of plants in the sugarcane area belongs to PG Kebon Agung, in the village of Sempalwadak, Bululawang subdistrict, Malang Regency. The study was conducted from January to June 2019. Endophytic fungi isolates were obtained in antagonistic test with pathogenic fungi Fusarium moniliformae. This study used RAL (complete randomized design) with 10 treatment and each treatment was repeated 3 times. Data obtained from observations were analyzed statistically using variance analysis (ANOVA) and if there were significant differences tested further with Duncan test (DMRT) with an error rate of 5%. The results of the study found 10 endophytic fungi isolates. Endophytic fungi isolates were found, there were 3 endophytic fungi that were not identified, among others, E1, E4 and E5 isolates. The fungi identified included E2 (Penicillium sp.), E3 isolates (Nigrospora sp. 1), E6 isolates ( Nigrospora sp. 2), E7 isolates (Aspergillus sp. 1), E8 isolates (Aspergillus sp. 2), E9 isolates (Mortierella sp.), and E10 (Fusarium sp.). Endophytic fungi that have the highest inhibition namely Mortierella sp.
