Abstract

Sawojajar merupakan kawasan perumahan terbesar di Malang yang menghasilkan pergerakan yang membebani jalan-jalan disekitarnya. Pada umumnya, pergerakan tersebut dihasilkan oleh aktivitas guna lahan perumahan, namun aktivitas guna lahan lainnya seperti komersial, pendidikan, dan kantor juga berkontribusi pada tingginya volume kendaraan. Bangkitan lalu lintas yang terjadi saat ini diperkirakan akan meningkat karena adanya rencanya pembukaan gerbang tol di Jl. Ki Ageng Gribig. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan adanya upaya antisipasi terhadap peningkatan kadar CO di udara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi karakteristik aktivitas transportasi yang mempengaruhi kadar CO dan menyusun beberapa model emisi CO di Kawasan Perumahan Sawojajar menggunakan analisis linier berganda. Penelitian ini dapat merumuskan model-model regresi yang berbeda berdasarkan 6 waktu yaitu pagi weekend, siang weekend, sore weekend, pagi weekday, siang weekday, sore weekday yang memungkinkan dalam memprediksi kadar CO di masa yang akan datang. Berdasarkan model regresi menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas transportasi yang menjadi penyumbang terbesar terhadap kadar CO di Kawasan Perumahan Sawojajar adalah aktivitas hambatan samping parkir (X6), lebar jalan efektif (X7), lebar bahu efektif (X8).

English Abstract

Sawojajar is the largest settlement area in Malang that generates serious traffic movements burdening the streets especially in its surrounding area. The movements are generally generated by the residential land-use function, but other land uses such us commercial, education, and office also contribute to the high volume of vehicular movements. The current generation of traffic is expected to increase as the plan to launch the toll exit on Ki Ageng Gribig street. Consequently, the level of CO concentration should be anticipated to increase. This research aims at identifying the characteristic of transportation activities and construct several CO emission models in Sawojajar resident area using a multiple linier regression analysis. The research was able to formulate different models based on six different time settings namely weekend-morning, weekend-midday, weekend-afternoon, weekday-morning, weekday-midday, weekday afternoon that allow future prediction of CO concentration. The models empirically showed that transportation activities with the biggest contribution to the CO concentration levels in Sawojajar are side friction (X6), effective street width (X7), effective roadside (X8).
