Abstract
Kota merupakan pusat kegiatan hidup manusia yang relatif dinamis dalam aspek ekonomi, sosial budaya, pelayanan, serta pengembangan. Salah satu upaya yang berdampak positif untuk mengurangi sisi negatif dari berbagai pembangunan dan pengembangan fisik kawasan perkotaan ini dilakukan melalui perencanaan lingkungan melalui pengelolaan ruang terbuka hijau (RTH). Maka dari itu penulis melakukan sebuah penelitian terhadap Hutan Kota Telaga Ngipik Gresik. Hutan Kota Telaga Ngipik Gresik merupakan suatu lahan tambang batu kapur milik PT Semen Gresik yang dieksploitasi sebagai bahan baku semen yang dikeruk dan menyisakan kubangan kemudian dijadikan sebagai hutan kota di daerah Gresik. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menjawab rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu (1) bagaimana persepsi masyarakat terhadap fungsi dan manfaat Hutan Kota Telaga Ngipik Gresik, (2) faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi persepsi masyarakat terhadap fungsi dan manfaat Hutan Kota Telaga Ngipik Gresik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif yaitu dengan cara mencari informasi tentang gejala yang ada, didefiniskan dengan jelas tujuan yang akan dicapai, merencanakan cara pendekatannya, dan mengumpulkan data sebagai bahan untuk membuat laporan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, faktor usia berpengaruh signifikan terhadap persepsi sebesar 0.000 < 0.05, faktor pendidikan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap persepsi sebesar 0.030 < 0.05, faktor pekerjaan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap fungsi hutan kota sebesar 0.500 > 0.05, faktor pendapatan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap persepsi masyarakat terhadap fungsi hutan kota sebesar 0.378 > 0.05.
English Abstract
The city is the center of activities of human life that are relatively dynamic in economic, socio-cultural, service, and development aspects. One effort that has a positive impact to reduce the negative side of various developments and physical development of urban areas is done through environmental planning through the management of green open space (RTH). Therefore the authors conducted a study of the Ngipik Gresik Telaga City Forest. Telaga Ngipik Gresik City Forest is a limestone mining land owned by PT Semen Gresik which is exploited as raw material for cement which is dredged and left a puddle and then it is used as urban forest in Gresik area. In this study, the authors answer the problem formulation in this study, namely (1) how people's perceptions of the functions and benefits of the Ngipik Gresik Telaga City Forest, (2) what factors influence the community's perception of the functions and benefits of the Ngipik Gresik Telaga City Forest. The research method used in this research is a descriptive quantitative research method that is by finding information about the symptoms that exist, clearly defined objectives to be achieved, planning how to approach it, and collecting data as material for making reports. The results showed that, the age factor had a significant effect on perception by 0,000 <0.05, the educational factor had a significant effect on perception by 0.030 <0.05, the work factor had no significant effect on urban forest function by 0.500> 0.05, the income factor had no significant effect on people's perceptions of the function of urban forest is 0.378> 0.05.
