Abstract
Fakultas Hukum Universitas Brawijaya terletak si kota Malang yang memiliki karakter iklim tropis. Gedung Fakultas Hukum memiliki orientasi yang memanjang dari utara ke selatan sehingga pada sisi barat dan timur fasad utama bangunan terkena sinar matahari selama 1 hari penuh yang menyebabkan suhu dalam ruangan tinggi karena paparan sinar matahari tersebut. Berdasarkan pengukuran sun shading ternyata sun shading pada Gedung tersebut kurang efektif dalam mereduksi sinar matahari yang masuk kedalam bangunan. Dengan munggunakan Ecotect Analysis 2011 dilakukan simulasi rekomendasi dengan Shading Device jenis Egg Crate menggunakan 2 ukuran berbeda. tujuan untuk mengetahui suhu ruangan dalam Gedung untuk nantinya di bandingkan dengan suhu setelah dilakukan rekomendasi yang telah menggunakan Shading Device jenis egg crate dengan 2 ukuran berbeda yaitu 1 meter dan 70 cm. hasil simulasi menunjukan bahwa Shading device jenis egg crate dengan berukuran 70 cm lebih efektif menurunkan suhu dengan penuruanan suhu rata rata mencapai 0,710C.
English Abstract
The Faculty of Law Universitas Brawijaya is located in Malang city which has a tropical climate character. The Law Faculty building has an orientation that extends from north to south so that on the west and east sides of the main facade of the building is exposed to sunlight for 1 full day which causes high indoor temperatures due to sun exposure. Based on measurements of sun shading, it turns out that sun shading in the building is less effective in reducing the sunlight entering the building. By using Ecotect Analysis 2011 a recommendation simulation with a Shading Device using Egg Crate uses 2 different sizes. the purpose is to find out the room temperature in the building to be later compared with the temperature after a recommendation has been made that has used the Shading Device type of egg crate with 2 different sizes, namely 1 meter and 70 cm. simulation results show that the shading device of the type of egg crate with a size of 70 cm is more effective in reducing the temperature by decreasing the average temperature reaching 0.710C.
