Abstract
Sistem Informasi Akademik secara khusus dikembangkan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan Perguruan Tinggi yang menginginkan layanan pendidikan yang terkomputerisasi untuk meningkatkan kinerja, kualitas layanan, serta kualitas sumber daya manusia (SDM) yang dihasilkannya. Sistem Informasi Akademik merupakan sistem informasi berbasis website yang dikembangkan oleh Bagian Administrasi dan Akademik UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. Namun pelayanan yang diberikan masih belum maksimal, terbukti dengan masih banyaknya mahasiswa yang mengalami masalah dalam menggunakan Sistem Informasi Akademik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kualitas layanan Sistem Informasi Akademik UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang dalam variabel efficiency, system availability, fulfillment, privacy, contact, responsiveness, compensation dan perceived value. Serta memberikan rekomendasi kepada UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang untuk dapat meningkatkan kualitas layanan Sistem Informasi Akademik. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner yang disebar secara offline kepada responden, dengan populasi mahasiswa UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang angkatan 2017-2013, dan sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 120 responden. Setelah itu dilakukan analisis statistik deskriptif untuk mengetahui tingkat kategori rata-rata yang dimiliki oleh tiap variabel berdasarkan pemusatan dan penyebaran data, sehingga didapatkan hasil rata-rata kategori. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa beberapa variabel mendapatkan kategori rata-rata cukup baik terhadap kualitas layanan Sistem Informasi Akademik UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, variabel efficiency mendapatkan nilai 2,87, variabel system availability mendapatkan nilai 3,00, variabel fulfillment mendapatkan nilai 2,90, variabel privacy mendapatkan nilai 3,12, dan variabel responsiveness mendapatkan nilai 2,71 yang berarti mahasiswa menilai bahwa indikator yang ada pada variabel efficiency, system availability, fulfillment, privacy dan responsiveness sudah cukup baik. Sedangkan beberapa variabel lainnya mendapatkan kategori rata-rata tidak baik terhadap kualitas layanan Sistem Informasi Akademik UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, variabel contact mendapatkan nilai 2,53, variabel compensation mendapatkan nilai 2,54, dan variabel perceived value mendapatkan nilai 2,57, yang berarti mahasiswa menilai bahwa indikator yang ada pada variabel contact, compensation dan perceived value masih kurang baik
English Abstract
The Academic Information System is specifically developed to meet the needs of Universities who want computerized education services to improve performance, service quality, and the quality of the human resources (HR) that they produce. Academic Information System is a website-based information system developed by the Administrative and Academic Agency of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. However, the services provided are still not maximal, proved by the fact that there are still many students who experience problems while using the Academic Information System. The objective of this study to determine the service quality of Academic Information Systems UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang in variable efficiency, system availability, fulfillment, privacy, contact, responsiveness, compensation and perceived value. And give recommendations to UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang to be able to improve the service quality of Academic Information System. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire that was distributed offline to respondents, the study population consisted of students of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang 2017-2013, with sample of 120 respondents. Furthermore the service quality of the Academic Information System was analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis to determine the level of the average category of each variable based on concentration and distribution of data, so that the results of the average category were obtained. At the end of the study it was determined that several variables obtained a fairly good average category of service quality Academic Information System UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, the efficiency variable got a value of 2.87, system availability variable got a value of 3.00, fulfillment variable got a value of 2.90, privacy variable gets a value of 3.12, and the responsiveness variable gets a value of 2.71, which means that students feel that the indicators in efficiency, system availability, fulfillment, privacy and responsiveness variables are good enough. While the other variables get a category that is not good on the service quality of Academic Information System UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, the contact variable gets a value of 2.53, the compensation variable gets a value of 2.54, and the perceived value variable gets a value of 2.57, which It means that students feel that the indicators in the contact, compensation and perceived value variables are still not good
