Abstract
PT Merdeka Grafika Indonesi merupakan perusahaan manufaktur yang kegiatanya mengolah bahan baku menjadi barang jadi yang disebut proses produksi. Perusahaan ini bergerak dibidang percetakan yang melayani pemesanan cetak poster, koran, majalah, kalender, serta tabloid. Proses produksi pada perusahaan memiliki alur yang panjang untuk menghasilkan sebuah produk jadi.Proses ini mengcangkup proses pra-cetak, produksi cetak, dan proses finishing. Dengan proses yang panjang hambatan dan kegagalan cetak dapat terjadi saat produksi berlangsung. Kegagalan cetak tersebut mengakibatkan tidak tercapainya target perusahaan. Selama ini perusahaan hanya berfokus pada perbaikan produk yang gagal tanpa mengetahui kegagalan yang ada pada setiap aktifitas produksi. Maka perlu dilakukan evaluasi proses bisnis yang berjalan saat ini dengan menggunakan Failure Mode And Effect Analysis (FMEA) dan Quality Evaluation Framework (QEF). FMEA digunakan untuk mengetahui setiap kegagalan yang terjadi pada aktivitas produksi. QEF digunakan untuk mengetahui gap yang terjadi antara target dan perhitungan QEF berdasar pada kondisi perusahaan saat ini. Langkah pertama adalah memodelkan proses bisnis menggunakan Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN). Kemudian melakukan evaluasi secara pararel menggunakan QEF dan FMEA. Langkah metode QEF adalah menentukan quality factor yang sesuai dengan proses bisnis berjalan saat ini. Quality factor tersebut dihitung menggunakan quality metric. Selanjutnya diidentifikasi pada quality factor yang tidak sesuai denga target perusahaan. Langkah metode FMEA adalah melakukan sesi brainstorming dengan stakeholder perusahaan. Kemudian membuat skala penilaian untuk tingkat keparahan (severity), tingkat frekuensi terjadinya masalah (Occurance), dan tingkat kemampuan untuk mencegah terjadinya masalah (Detection). Setelah dilakukan penilaian maka hasilnya dikalikan agar menghasilkan Risk Priority Number (RPN). Hasil dari metode QEF tersebut berupa gap yang terjadi antara target dan kondisi perusahaan saat ini. Hasil dari metode FMEA adalah potensi kegaggalan dengan nilai rpn tertinggi. Kedua hasil metode tersebut akan dicari akar permasalahanya menggunakan Root Cause Analysis
English Abstract
PT Merdeka Grafika Indonesia is manufaturing company focusing in processing raw materials into good, known as producing. This company is specialized in printing and receives orders to print posters, newspapers, magazines, calenders, and tabloids. The process itself comprises of pre-printing, printing producing, dan finishing process. During the long duration of producing, many obstacles and failures is to be faced by this company. Failures in printing results to the inability of the company in reaching targets. All these times, the company is only focused to recreate a better version to any failure products and unaware enough to understand any failure in the producing activities. Because of that, evaluation considering the current unning business process needs to be conducted using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and Quality Evaluation Framework (QEF). The FMEA is usually helpful in order to understand any failures in the producing activity. On the other hands, the QEF is specifically a mean to understand any gaps between the targets and QEF calculations in the current company position. The first to this process is remodel the business process using the Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN). After that, a parallel evaluation is conducted, using the QEF and FMEA. The QEF step of this process is to define the quality factor suitable to the current running business process. The quality factor will be calculated using the quality metric. Next, identification towards the quality factors of which are not suitable with the company target. FMEA method step requires a brainstorming session with the company stakeholders. After that, creating an assessment scale to score the severity, occurence, and detection. After the assessment, the result will be multiplied to bring out the Risk Priority Number 9 (RPN). The result from the QEF method is the gap between the target and the current company condition. The result of the FMEA method is the failure potential with the highest RPN number. Both results are then multiplied, then searches to find the stem of the problem are conducted to figure out the cause of the root of the problem.
