Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang analisis unjuk kerja jaringan WLAN 802.11n yang terinterferensi jaringan WLAN 802.11g dengan menyamakan kanal masing-masing jaringan dan dilakukan variasi jarak pada client dan server jaringan WLAN 802.11g. Penggunaan kanal frekuensi kerja yang sama dapat menimbulkan interferensi pada masing-masing jaringan. Pengujian dilakukan di dalam ruangan, dan penentuan kanal yang akan digunakan adalah kanal yang tidak terpakai pada area pengujian. Untuk mengetahui kanal berapa saja yang digunakan pada area pengujian. digunakan aplikasi bernama WiFi Analyzer. Pada penelitian ini, ada 3 parameter Quality of Service (QoS) yang digunakan yaitu delay, packet loss dan throughput. Parameter QoS digunakan untuk mengetahui adanya interferensi sinyal yang mempengaruhi kinerja jaringan WLAN 802.11n. Interferensi menyebabkan menurunnya kualitas kinerja jaringan ditandai dengan perubahan nilai delay, packet loss dan throughput jika dibandingkan dengan kondisi tanpa terinterferensi. Besar nilai delay, packet loss dan throughput tanpa ada interferensi adalah 2.46529 ms, 0% dan 6122 kbps. Nilai delay pada saat jarak penginterferensi 16m,12m,8m dan 4m sebesar 2,98222, 4,77618, 6,51603 dan 7,77462. Nilai packet loss pada saat jarak penginterferensi 16m,12m,8m dan 4m sebesar 0,23%, 1,03%, 1,87%, dan 2,93%. Sedangkan nilai throughput pada jaringan WLAN 802.11n pada saat jarak penginterferensi 16m,12m,8m dan 4m sebesar 5957,81 kbps, 5507,51 kbps, 4559,91 kbps dan 3153,44 kbps.

English Abstract

This research discuss about the analysis interference of WLAN 802.11n toward WLAN 802.11g with equalize each frequency channel and doing variation on WLAN 802.11g client and server distance. Using same work frequency channel can cause interference each network. This research was conducted indoor and determine the channel that will be used is unused in the research area. In order to know what their used channel in research area is using WiFi Analyzer. This research is conducted by counting 3 parameters Quality of Service (QoS) that are delay, packet loss and throughput. The QoS parameter is used to determine signal interference that affects the performance of the WLAN 802.11n network.Interference causes a decrease in the quality of network performance characterized by changes in the value of delay, packet loss and throughput when compared to conditions without interference. The value of delay, packet loss and throughput without interference is 2.46529 ms, 0% and 6122 kbps. The delay value when the interference distance is 16m, 12m, 8m and 4m is 2.98222, 4.77618, 6.51603 and 7.77462. The value of packet loss when the interference distance is 16m, 12m, 8m and 4m is 0.23%, 1.03%, 1.87%, and 2.93%. While the throughput value in WLAN 802.11n networks when the interfering distance is 16m, 12m, 8m and 4m is 5957,81 kbps, 5507,51 kbps, 4559,91 kbps and 3153,44 kbps.
