Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran kepribadian conscientiousness dalam sikap terhadap korupsi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional dengan sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 169 orang anggota aktif dari partai politik peserta Pemilu 2019 di Kota Malang dan Kabupaten Malang yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa skala kepribadian conscientiousness bagian dari skala Big Five Inventory (BFI) yang di adaptasi dari penelitian Ramdhani (2012) dan skala sikap terhadap korupsi yang diadaptasi dari penelitian Akhrani (2019). Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peran kepribadian conscientiousness dalam sikap terhadap korupsi. Semakin tinggi kepribadian conscientiousness yang dimiliki individu maka semakin rendah sikap terhadap korupsi. Hal ini didukung dengan nilai koefisien regresi (R) sebesar 0,140 dengan p-value sebesar 0,70 (p > 0,05).
English Abstract
This study intends to reveal the role of conscientiousness personality in attitudes toward corruption. This study uses a quantitative correlational with sample used in this study was 169 active members from the political parties participating in the 2019 Election in Malang City and Malang Regency, who were selected through a purposive sampling technique. The research instrument in the form of personality conscientiousness scale was part of the Big Five Inventory (BFI) scale adapted from Ramdhani's research (2012) and the scale of attitudes towards corruption adapted from the Akhrani’s research (2019). The research data will be analyzed using a simple linear regression analysis method. The results of this study showed that there was a role for conscientiousness in attitude towards corruption. However, higher level conscientiousness personality possessed by the individual, followed by their lower attitude towards corruption. This result was supported by the regression coefficient (R) of 0.140 with p-value of 0.70 (p> 0.05).
