Abstract

PT Paberik Tekstil Kasrie merupakan perusahaan manufaktur yang bergerak di industri tekstil yang memproduksi handuk, kain plaster dan baju mandi. Proses produksi di PT Paberik Tekstil Kasrie terdiri dari 3 departemen yaitu PNW (Preparation and Weaving), DNF (Dyeing and Finishing) dan MU (Making-Up). Pada penelitian ini hanya fokus di jalur produksi weaving 2 yang menghasilkan handuk, dikarenakan jam kerja mesin yang tinggi, dimana mesin dipaksa untuk bekerja secara maksimum. Proses produksinya menggunakan mesin tenun jacquard. PT Paberik Tekstil Kasrie menggunakan strategi preventive maintenance dan corrective maintenance dalam proses kegiatan perawatan untuk mengatasi kegagalan mesin yang terjadi. Berdasarkan data historis, downtime mesin tenun jacquard di jalur produksi weaving 2 masih cukup tinggi terutama pada mesin jacquard 4. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan strategi perawatan yang lebih optimal untuk meminimalisir downtime. Penerapan metode Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) II dipilih karena metode ini dapat menentukan rencana perawatan dan interval waktu perawatan yang difokuskan pada mesin-mesin kritis serta menghindari aktivitas perawatan yang tidak diperlukan. Sebelumnya, dilakukan penyusunan Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) untuk menentukan komponen kritis pada mesin jacquard 4 dan penyusunan strategi perawatan yang optimal dalam RCM II Decision Worksheet. Kemudian, dilakukan perhitungan total biaya perawatan dan perhitungan nilai keandalan sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan interval waktu perawatan sehingga didapatkan total biaya yang paling efisien. Hasil penelitian ini di peroleh 6 komponen kritis yang memiliki nilai RPN tertinggi yaitu Solenoid magnet, hook, tali hook, pulley, tali pulley dan tali harness. Berdasarkan RCM II Decision Worksheet, komponen solenoid magnet dilakukan tindakan perawatan scheduled discard task dalam interval waktu 118,60 jam. Kemudian, dibutuhkan biaya perawatan sebesar Rp 9.305,00 per jam dan nilai keandalan meningkat dari 56% menjadi 66%. Komponen hook dilakukan tindakan perawatan scheduled discard task dalam interval waktu 179,54 jam. Kemudian, dibutuhkan biaya perawatan sebesar Rp 5.173,00 per jam dan nilai keandalan meningkat dari 57% menjadi 73%. Komponen tali hook dilakukan tindakan perawatan scheduled discard task dalam interval waktu 74,61 jam. Kemudian, dibutuhkan biaya perawatan sebesar Rp 15.774,00 per jam dan nilai keandalan meningkat dari 57% menjadi 68%. Komponen pulley dilakukan tindakan perawatan yaitu scheduled discard task dalam interval waktu 108,70 jam. Kemudian, dibutuhkan biaya perawatan sebesar Rp 9.345,00 per jam dan nilai keandalan meningkat dari 56% menjadi 67%. Komponen tali pulley dilakukan tindakan perawatan scheduled discard task dalam interval waktu 130,6 jam. Kemudian, dibutuhkan biaya perawatan sebesar Rp 7.344,00 per jam dan nilai keandalan meningkat dari 57% menjadi 72%. Komponen tali harness dilakukan tindakan perawatan scheduled discard task dalam interval waktu 92,57 jam. Kemudian, dibutuhkan biaya perawatan sebesar Rp 13.387,00 per jam dan nilai keandalan meningkat dari 56% menjadi 63%.

English Abstract

PT Paberik Tekstil Kasrie is a manufacturing company engaged in the textile industry that produces towels, plaster cloth and bathing suits. The production process at PT Paberik Tekstil Kasrie consists of 3 departments, they are PNW (Preparation and Weaving), DNF (Dyeing and Finishing) and MU (Making-Up). To be more specific, this study only focuses on the weaving production 2, which produces towels, since the machines’ working hours in that production is overrunning, which pushes machines to run at maximum performance. The production process uses Jacquard weaving machines. PT Paberik Tekstil Kasrie uses preventive and corrective maintenance strategies in the process of maintenance activities to handle the machinery breakdown. Based on the historical data, the downtime of jacquard looms on the weaving production 2 is still quite high, especially on the jacquard machine 4. Therefore, it is still needed an optimal maintenance strategy to minimize the downtime. Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) II method was chosen because this method can determine the maintenance program and intervals that were focused on critical machines and avoid unnecessary maintenance activities. Previously, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) was arranged to determine the critical components on the Jacquard machine 4 and to set an optimal maintenance strategies in RCM II Decision Worksheet. The next process is calculation the total maintenance costs and the reliability values before and after using maintenance the intervals, therefore, it obtain the most efficient cost. The results reveal that there are 6 critical components that have the highest RPN value, namely Solenoid magnet, hook, hook rope, pulley, pulley strap and harness. According to the result of RCM II Decision Worksheet, the solenoid magnet component must be handled by scheduled on-condition maintenance in the interval of 118,60 hours. Then, it is required maintenance costs of Rp. 9.305.00 per hour; and reliability values increases from 56% to 66%. The hook component also must be handled by scheduled on-condition maintenance in the interval of 179,54 hours; required maintenance costs of Rp. 5,173.00 per hour; the value of reliability increases from 57% to 73%. The hook rope component must be handled by scheduled on-condition maintenance in the interval of 74,61 hours; maintenance costs of Rp. 15,774.00 per hour are needed; the reliability value increases from 57% to 68%. Pulley components also must be handled by scheduled on-condition maintenance in the time interval of 108,70 hours; maintenance costs are needed at Rp. 9.345.00 per hour; the reliability value increases from 56% to 67%. Pulley rope components must be handled by scheduled on-condition maintenance in the interval of 130, 26 hours; maintenance costs are needed at Rp. 7.344.00 per hour; the reliability value increases from 57% to 72%. The harness component must be handled by scheduled on-condition in the interval of 92.57 hours; maintenance costs are needed at Rp. 13,387.00 per hour; the reliability value increases from 56% to 63%.
