Abstract
Penelitian ini membahas tentang pembingkaian posisi perempuan berstatus janda di Malang Raya dalam teks berita dengan periode waktu yang berbeda. Hal tersebut dibahas dalam rubrik lapsus media cetak harian Malang Post. Pada edisi 21 Maret 2016 terbit isu perceraian pada halaman depan Malang Post dengan judul Selamat Datang Para Janda Muda dan edisi 24 September 2016 terbit kembali isu perceraian pada halaman depan dengan penekanan jumlah janda di akhir tahun 2016 yang diberi judul Ada 9.259 Janda Baru Di Malang Raya. Tujuan dari diadakannya penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat dan mendapatkan pemahaman tentang pembingkaian mengenai perempuan berstatus janda dalam surat kabar pada wacana berita kasus perceraian. Analisa dalam penelitian ini menggunakan konsep framing model Robert N. Entman tahapannya adalah define problem, diagnose causes, make moral judgement, dan treatment recommendation. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan beberapa langkah seperti pengamatan, penelusuran, dan penggunaan dokumen. Hasil dari penelitian pada rubrik lapsus Malang Post edisi 21 Maret 2016 membingkai dan menonjolkan dampak perceraian pada perempuan berstatus janda yang berpendidikan rendah dan tidak memiliki keahlian khusus. Sedangkan pada edisi 24 September 2016 membingkai dan menonjolkan perjalanan sukses kehidupan dua wanita tangguh setelah bercerai untuk menghapuskan stigma dan streotipe tentang janda
English Abstract
This research are discussed about framing the news of the position woman who has widow statusses in Malang Raya on different periods. The news are discussed in Malang Post Newspaper. On 21st March 2016 edition, there are a special report which is became a headline on Malang Post. The tittle is “Selamat Datang Para Janda Muda and. On 24th September 2016 edition, this news are rose again. The issue are emphasis the number of widow at the end 2016 year and the title is “Ada 9.256 Janda Baru di Malang Raya.” The purpose of this research are to see and to get the meaning of framing about the role and position of woman in widow status inside the newspaper on the case of divorce. The analysis of this research are used the framing concept of Robert N. Entman. The step is: define problem, diagnose cause, make moral judgement and treatment recomendation. Datas collected technique are observation, tracing and documentation study. The result of this research are, in special rubric of Malang Post 21st March 2016 edition, it framed and showed the high number of divorce and the impact of divorced on kids and women who had low education and don’t had the special skills. In special rubric of Malang Post 24th September 2016 edition, it showed the successfull journey of two strong women after divorced. It’s created to erased negative stigma and stereotype about widow.
