Abstract
Perusahaan persewaan perlengkapan pesta di Tolitoli ini merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang penyediaan jasa sewa seperti tenda, panggung dan gapura di Tolitoli. Selama menjalankan usahanya perusahaan mendapatkan keuntungan namun belum melakukan pengembangan usaha. Adanya permintaan kursi yang tidak dapat dipenuhi oleh pesaing menjadi peluang. Sehingga perusahaan ingin melakukan investasi pengadaan kursi dengan dua alternatif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelayakan investasi dari kedua usulan alternatif pada aspek pasar dan aspek finansial untuk mendapatkan keuntungan tertinggi. Metodologi penelitian pada aspek pasar diawali dengan menyebarkan kuesioner pada 50 responden. Kemudian dilakukan penentuan posisi perusahaan terhadap pesaing menggunaka MDS (Multidimensional Scaling) untuk mendapatkan titik koordinat masing-masing perusahaan dan gambaran posisi perusahaan dalam configuration map. Sedangkan pada aspek finansial di awali dengan menentukan variabel pendapatan dan variabel pengeluaran pada kedua alternatif. Kemudian dilakukan penilaian Net Present Value untuk mengetahui apakah usulan investasi yang dilakukan layak. Hasil dari penelitian ini diketahui pada aspek pasar terdapat pengelompokan posisi perusahan yang terdiri dari kelompok 1 (Usaha_Sewa, kompetitor 2 dan kompetitor 4) dan kelompok 2 (kompetitor 1 dan kompetitor 3). Dengan pertimbangan adanya kompetitor pesaing usaha sejenis perusahaan ini layak melakukan investasi. Sedangkan pada aspek finansial diketahui nilai NPV pada alternatif 1 sebesar Rp 363.272.747 dan alternatif 2 sebesar Rp 224.639.725. Dengan usulan alternatif terpilih adalah alternatif 1 karena memiliki nilai NPV yang lebih besar dari nilai NPV alternatif 2.
English Abstract
Events equipment rental companies in Tolitoli is a company engaged in the provide of rental services such as tents, stilts and gapura in Tolitoli. While doing business, the company gained profit but can not expand their bussiness. The demand for seats that can't be filled by competitors is an opportunity. So the company wants to invest the procurement of seats with two alternatives. The purpose of this research is to know the investment feasibility of both alternative proposal on the market aspect and financial aspect to get the highest profit Research methodology on the market aspect begins with spreading the questionnaire on 50 respondents. Determine the position of the company and competitor position using Multidimensional Scaling to get the coordinates of each company and the company's position description in configuration map. While in financial aspect the first step specifying income variable and expense variable in both alternatives. Then conduct an net present Value assessment to find out if the investment proposal made feasible. The result of this research is in the market aspect that there is a grouping of company positions consisting of Group 1 (Usaha_Sewa, competitor 2 and competitor 4) and Group 2 (competitor 1 and competitor 3). With consideration of competitors with similar type of business, the company is worth investing. While in the financial aspect in alternative 1 is Rp 363.272.747 and alternative 2 is Rp 224.639.725. So the chosen alternative proposal is alternative 1 because it has a higher NPV than NPV alternative 2.
