Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang perubahan sosial ekonomi masyarakat nelayan pasca masuknya sistem kredit bank di Desa Weru, Kecamatan Paciran, Kabupaten Lamongan. Terdapat perubahan setelah masyarakat Desa Weru mengenal sistem kredit bank. Terjadinya perubahan sosial ekonomi tentu memiliki dampak ke masyarakat, penelitian ini akan memberikan penyebab dari perubahan yang terjadi. Hal yang mendasari perubahan sosial yaitu adanya akses media, birokrasi, modal, teknologi dan ideologi. Sehingga tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah guna mengetahui faktor penyebab terjadinya perubahan sosial ekonomi di masyarakat Desa Weru, Kecamatan Paciran, Kabupaten Lamongan. Penelitian ini menggunakan konsep dari Salim (2002) dalam Martono yang menjelaskan beberapa faktor yang dapat mendukung adanya perubahan sosial. Faktor tersebut diantaranya “five conteporary prime mover” (lima faktor penggerak konteporer). Yaitu media, birokrasi, modal, teknologi dan ideologi. Adapun metode penelitian kali ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dapat diketahui bahwa terdapat perubahan sosial ekonomi di masyarakat nelayan Desa Weru, Kecamatan Paciran, Kabupaten Lamongan setelah masuknya sistem kredit bank. Adanya informasi tentang sistem kredit bank membuat masyarakat mampu memperoleh modal untuk melakukan peralihan, tidak adanya birokrasi yang kuat mengenai peningkatan jumlah perahu yang mengakibatkan ketimpangan antara jumlah nelayan juragan dan nelayan buruh. Melalui sistem kredit bank masyarakat mampu meningkatkan peralatan melaut mereka, hal tersebut juga didukung dengan adanya prestis atau anggapan bahwa masyarakat yang memiliki perahu dianggap orang yang mampu dan nelayan yang memiliki hasil tangkap laut paling banyak (alongan) adalah orang yang disegani.

English Abstract

This research discusses the social economic change of fishermen after the inclusion of bank credit system in Weru village, Paciran subdistrict, Lamongan regency. There was a change after the community of Weru Village knew the bank credit system. The occurrence of socio-economic change certainly has an impact to the community, this research will give the cause of the changes occurring. The underlying social change is to access media, bureaucracy, capital, technology and ideology. So the purpose of this research is to know the factors that cause social economic change in Weru village community, Paciran subdistrict, Lamongan regency. This research uses the concept of Salim (2002) in Martono which describes several factors that can support the social change. These factors include the "five Conteporary Prime Mover" (five-factor konteporer activator). Namely media, bureaucracy, capital, technology and ideology. The research method this time using qualitative method of descriptive. The results of the research is known that there is a social economic change in the fishermen community Village Weru, District Paciran, Lamongan Regency After the entry of the bank credit system. The information about the bank's credit system makes the community capable of obtaining capital to transition, the absence of strong bureaucracy about the increasing number of boats resulting in inequality between the number of fishermen and fishermen Labor. Through the credit system of the Community bank is able to improve their equipment, it is also supported by the Prestige or the assumption that the community that has the boat is considered a capable person and fishermen who have the results of the sea Much (Alongan) is a respected person.
