Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana komunikasi interpersonal antara pelatih dan atlet di tim Arema FC secara deskriptif dari latar belakang penelitian bahwa terjadi dampak yang signifikan dari hasil pertandingan setelah terjadi pergantian pelatih. Peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian dengan pendekatan kualitatif serta menggunakan teknik penyajian deskriptif. Untuk teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan cara pengamatan ke lapangan, wawancara dengan narasumber, studi dokumentasi dan kepustakaan. Peneliti menggunakan metode purposive sampling dalam pemilihan informan. Untuk memeriksa keabsahan data, peneliti menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber hingga terjadi keabsahan data. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukanaktivitas dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi proses komunikasi interpersonal antara pe;atoh dan atlet di tim Arema FC. Aktivitas komunikasi yang efektif, dukungan dari kedua belah pihak harus terjalin dengan baik. Selain itu keterbukaan, empati, sikap mendukung, sikap positif, dan kesetaraan harus selalu dijaga. Selain itu hambatan dalam komunikasi interpersonal di tim Arema FC mempengaruhi berlangsungnya komunikasi antara pelatih dan atlet. Hambatan seperti gangguan yang berasal dari fasilitas maupun keterbatasan bahasa, kepentingan pribadi para atlet dan pelatih, motivasi terpendam dari masing-masing anggota tim yang ingin maju, dan prasangka dari sisi pelatih maupun atlet seperti kurangnya kepercayaan diri adalah adalah hambatan dari para pelatih dan atlet. Sehingga dalam proses aktivitas komunikasi kurang berjalan dengan efektif. Situasi seperti ini dapat mengurangi intensitas berkomunikasi antara pelatih dengan atlet.
English Abstract
This research purpose to find out how interpersonal communication between coach and athletes in the Arema FC team by descriptive analysis from the research background that there was a significant impact on the results of the match after the coach's turnover. The researcher uses the research method with qualitative approach and uses descriptive data presentation technique. This researcher did observation, interviews with sources, documentation and literature studies on collecting the data. This research use purposive sampling method for selected the informants. In order to check the validity of the data, the researcher used triangulation technique to occur data saturation. The research result shows the activities and factors that influenced the communication process. In a process of effective communication activities, support from both parties must be well established. There are like openness, empathy, supportive attitude, positive attitude, and equality must always be maintained. In addition, barriers to interpersonal communication on Arema FC team, affect the ongoing communication between coaches and athletes. Obstacles such as disturbances originating from facilities and limited language, the personal interests of athletes and coaches, hidden motivation from each team member who wants to advance, and prejudice from the side of coaches and athletes, such as lack of confidence are obstacles to coaches and athletes . So that the process of communication activities is less effective. This situation can reduce the intensity of communication between the coach and the athlete.
