English Abstract

Acceptance of peer friends is very important. This is because a friend is an individual starting point in socializing other than with the family. This study aims to determine whether there is a comparison of peer acceptance of students with special needs between regular students in inclusive schools and regular students at non-inclusive schools. This research including quantitative comparative and scale in this study was disseminated offline. The response is regular students in inclusive SMP (N = 144; M = 7.28; SD = 0.74) and regular students in noninclusive SMP (N = 146; M = 1.95; SD = 1.17). Measurements using the Peer Acceptance Scale (PAS) and have been transcribed into Indonesian by Junita & Mangusong. Hypothesis test results are calculated using the independent sample ttest showing t values of 46.35 and p .000 (p> 0.05) so that there are differences in peer acceptance of students with special needs between regular students in inclusive junior high school and regular students on non-inclusive SMP
