Abstract
Abstrak: Amerika Serikat merupakan negara pengekspor terbesar beberapa produk hortikultura seperti anggur dan apel bagi Indonesia. Semenjak adanya pembatasan impor oleh Indonesia, ekspor anggur dan apel Amerika Serikat mengalami penurunan dan berdampak pada perdagangan Amerika Serikat. Dalam upaya penyelesaian sengketa dagang hortikultura, Amerika Serikat menggugat Indonesia ke Dispute Settlement Body (DSB) World Trade Organization (WTO). Dalam gugatan ini Amerika Serikat berhasil memenangkan sengketa. Proses penyelesaian sengketa ini dipaparkan menggunakan konsep penyelesaian sengketa di WTO oleh Jackson John. Terdapat 11 proses yang dipaparkan. Metode penelitian adalah kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif.
English Abstract
Abstract: The United States is the largest exporter of several horticultural products such as grapes and apples for Indonesia. Since the restrictions on imports by Indonesia, the export of grapes and apples from the United States has decreased and has an impact on US trade. In an effort to resolve horticultural trade disputes, the United States sued Indonesia to the World Trade Organization (WTO) Dispute Settlement Body (DSB). In this lawsuit the United States managed to win the dispute. The dispute resolution process was presented using Jackson John's concept of dispute settlement mechanism of WTO. There are 11 processes described. The research method is qualitative with descriptive research types
