Implementasi Encounter Record Untuk Menangani Flood Attack Pada Routing Protocol Epidemic Dan Routing Protocol Spray-And-Wait DTN

Kristiyanto, Yefta (2019) Implementasi Encounter Record Untuk Menangani Flood Attack Pada Routing Protocol Epidemic Dan Routing Protocol Spray-And-Wait DTN. Sarjana thesis, Universitas Brawijaya.

Abstract

English Abstract

Delay Tolerant Network has two routing protocols, single-copy and multi-copy. This research uses epidemic and spray-and-wait routing which is multi-copy routing. Multi-copy routing is more vulnerable to flood attacks. Flood attack is an attack carried out by a malicious node. Flood attacks are carried out by sending a replicas beyond the threshold into the network. Its goal is to overuse buffer resources. So messages from normal nodes cannot be stored and sent to the destination node. Encounter record is a mechanism that can be used to detect flood attack attacks on DTN networks. In this research, an Encounter Record was developed to handle flood attacks. The handling mechanism is carried out by detection and prevention by blacklist node that detected as a malicious node. The results of this research have an average detection time of 1.2 seconds for Epidemic routing and 0.98 seconds for spray-and-wait routing. The average detection accuracy is 80% for epidemic routing and 100% for spray-and-wait routing. The average PDR is 49.67% for epidemic routing and 90.70% for spray-and-wait routing. The average latency is 2774.35 for epidemic routing and 2794.70 for spray-and-wait routing. The average overhead ratio is 281.52 for epidemic routing and 8.82 for spray-and-wait routing.
