Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran trait kepribadian agreeableness terhadap forgiveness pada mahasiswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan partisipan mahasiswa aktif S1 Perguruan Tinggi yang ada di Indonesia (N=807). Teknik sampling menggunakan non-probabily sampling atau non-random sampling berupa accidental sampling. TRIM 12 digunakan untuk mengukur forgiveness dan NEO-FF1 digunakan untuk mengukur agreeableness.Uji hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linear sederhana. Hasil dari analisis data menunjukkan bahwa agreeableness berperan dan berkontribusi terhadap forgiveness (R2 = 0.129), serta nilai coefficient beta menunjukkan bahwa agreeableness berkolerasi secara positif terhadap forgiveness dengan nilai (Sig .000).
English Abstract
This study aims to determine the role of agreeableness personality trait towards forgiveness in students. This research is a quantitative research with participants form active undergraduate institutions in Indonesia (N=807). The sampling technique that used was accidental sampling.TRIM 12 was used to measure forgiveness and NEO-FF1 was used to measure agreeableness. Hypothesis testing was done by using simple linear regression analysis. The results of data analysis show that agreeableness plays a role and contributes to forgiveness (R2 = 0.129), and the value of the beta coefficient shows that agreeableness correlates positively to forgiveness with a value (Sig .000).
