Abstract
Eko Prawoto merupakan salah satu arsitek Indonesia selalu memperhatikan prinsip iklim tropis pada karyanya. Akan tetapi, terdapat karya bangunan rumah tinggal Eko Prawoto belum memaksimalkan penerapan prinsip iklim tropis. Sehingga diperlukan evaluasi karya arsitek penerapan prinsip Arsitektur Tropis Nusantara untuk menciptakan kenyamanan termal yang baik. Penelitian menggunakan metode evaluatif dengan Pendekatan metode kualitatif menggunakan analisis visual objek penelitian bangunan rumah tinggal karya Eko Prawoto dariteori prinsip Arsitektur Tropis Nusantara untuk mengetahui seberapa besar prinsip tersebut diterapkan. metode kuantitataif menggunakan analisis numberik untuk mengetahui kinerja termal lingkungan dan penurunan kinerja suhu pada bangunan rumah tinggal karya Eko Prawoto. Hasil yang didapatkan kinerja termal lingkungan pada bangunan rumah tinggal karya Eko Prawoto pada zona nyaman yaitu dengan rentang suhu 23,30C – 28,30C. Sebesar 90,9% dari prinsip Arsitektur Tropis Nusantara telah diterapkan pada objek penelitian bangunan rumah tinggal Eko Prawoto. Sebesar 9,1% dari prinsip yang belum diterapkan dijadikan sebagai rekomendasi desain yaitu rancangan atap berupa lubang ventilasi pada ruang atap dan rancangan bukaan berupa kisi-kisi pada elemen arsitektural.
English Abstract
Eko Prawoto is one of Indonesia's architects who always regard to the tropical climate his works. However, some works of Eko Prawoto's residential building haven’t maximized to application tropical climate factor. So that to needed evaluate architect's works based on principle of Archipelago Tropical Architecture to create good thermal comfort. Research uses evaluative methods with qualitative method uses visual analysis the residential building works Eko Prawoto based on principle of Archipelago Tropical Architecture to find out how much principle is applied. Quantitative method uses numberic analysis to find out enviroment thermal performance works of residential building Eko Prawoto. The results obtained environmental thermal performance on works the residential buildings Eko Prawoto were comfort zone with range temperature of 23,30C - 28,30C. The Archipelago Tropical Architecture principle have been applied to residential building works Eko Prawoto as much as 90,9%. and as much as 9.1% the principle that haven't been applied are used as design recommendations, the roof design and the design of openings in the ventilation holes on the roof space and architectural elements.
