Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh manajemen modal kerja pada perusahaan otomotif dan komponen yang listing di bursa efek Indonesia terhadap profitabilitas perusahaan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah explanatory research yaitu menjelaskan hubungan dan pengaruh antar variabel satu dengan variabel lainnya melalui pengujian hipotesis. Pada penelitian ini, digunakan sampel sebanyak 12 perusahaan, dengan periode 5 tahun mulai dari tahun 2013-2017. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa periode persediaan, periode utang usaha dan siklus konversi kas secara parsial berpengaruh negatif terhadap profitabilitas. Hal ini berarti jika periode persediaan, periode utang usaha dan siklus konversi kas perusahaan meningkat maka profitabilitas perusahaan akan menurun.
English Abstract
This study aims to determine the influence of working capital management of automotive and component companies listed on IDX on their company profitability. This type of research is explanatory research, namely explaining the relationship and influence between variables one with other variables through hypothesis testing. In this study, a sample of 12 companies was used. With the periode of 5 years starting from 2013-2017. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis obtained in this study are inventory period, business debt period, and cash conversion cycle are partially influencing negatively on profitability. Which conclude that if cash conversion cycle are increased, company profitability will be decreased.
