Abstract
Bank merupakan lembaga keuangan yang memiliki peranan penting dalam perekonomian suatu negara. Kinerja profitabilitas bank yang sehat sangat diperlukan untuk kelancaran fungsi bank syariah sebagai lembaga perantara keuangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh kecukupan modal, likuiditas, dan efisiensi operasional terhadap profitabilitas bank umum syariah yang terdaftar di otoritas jasa keuangan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 13 bank umum syariah yang terdaftar di otoritas jasa keuangan periode 2013-2017. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan menggunakan purposive sampling dan diperoleh sampel sejumlah 7 bank umum syariah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis regresi linear berganda dengan uji hipotesis yaitu uji t dan uji F. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kecukupan modal berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap profitabilitas, likuiditas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap profitabilitas, serta efisiensi operasional berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap profitabilitas.
English Abstract
Banks are financial institutions that have an important role in the economy of a country. A healthy bank profitability performance is needed for the smooth functioning of Islamic banks as financial intermediaries. This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of capital adequacy, liquidity, and operational efficiency on the profitability of sharia commercial banks registered with financial services authorities. The population in this study were 13 Islamic public banks registered in the financial services authority for the period 2013-2017. Sampling was done using purposive sampling and a sample of 7 Islamic banks was obtained. This study uses the method of multiple linear regression analysis by testing the hypothesis that is the t-test and F-test. The results of this study indicate that capital adequacy has a positive and significant effect on profitability, liquidity has a positive and significant effect on profitability, and operational efficiency has a negative and significant effect on profitability.
