Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan linear antara consideration of future consequences dengan perilaku mengonsumsi alkohol di Kabupaten Purworejo, Jawa Tengah. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebesar 201 orang dengan kriteria usia 15 tahun ke atas dan pernah mengonsumsi alkohol, Metode yang digunakan penelitian ini Pearson’s Product Moment dengan confidence interval 0.05 (p < 0.05). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan korelasi negatif sebesar -0.603 (p < 0.001), yang dapat diartikan jika CFC seseorang tinggi maka perilaku mengonsumsi alkoholnya akan rendah. Begitu juga dengan sebaliknya, dimana semakin rendah CFC seseorang maka semakin sering perilaku mengonsumsi alkohol akan muncul.

English Abstract

This study aims to see the linear relationship between consideration of future consequences (CFC) and alcohol consumption behaviour in Purworejo District, Middle Java. The sample size used in this study is 201 subjects, which have two criterias such as age above 15 years old and has consumed alcohol drinks. Pearson’s product moment is conducted with 0.05 of confidence interval (p < 0.05). The result shows that CFC and alcohol consumption behaviour have negative correlation whereas the coefficient is -0.603 (p < 0.001), which means that if someone who has high CFC levels, then he/she would has low level of alcohol consumption behaviour. Conversely, if someone who has low CFC levels, then alcohol consumption behaviour would more often occurs.
