Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dari sebuah fenomena dimana pada tahun 2015 Provinsi Jawa Timur menjadi provinsi tertinggi dengan kesenian yang punah. Munculnya sebuah Kampung Budaya Polowijen mendorong masyarakat agar cinta dengan budaya melalui cara baru. Cara baru inilah yang disebut sebagai sebuah inovasi. Peneliti kemudian mengambil judul "Proses Difusi Inovasi Di Kampung Budaya Polowijen Kecamatan Blimbing Kota Malang". Memiliki rumusan masalah yaitu bagaimana proses keputusan inovasi di Kampung Budaya Polowijen, Kelurahan Polowijen, Kecamatan Blimbing, Kota Malang?". Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui bagaimana individu atau kelompok masyarakat Polowijen dalam mengetahui, bersikap, memutuskan, melaksanakan dan mengonfirmasi inovasi Kampung Budaya Polowijen. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang mengambil data dari wawancara, buku atau literatur lain dan data penunjang lainnya. Data yang diperoleh nantinya akan diproses dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis. Kemudian penelitian ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan teori proses keputusan inovasi menurut Everett Rogers.Menurut penelitian yang telah dilakukan bahwa di Kampung Budaya Polowijen terjadi beberapa proses keputusan dari individu atau kelompok terhadap sebuah inovasi. Masyarakat mulai mengetahui inovasi karena adanya informasi dari agen pembaharu. Kemudian masyarakat Polowijen mulai menyukai inovasi dan tidak menyukai inovasi. Namun dalam prosesnya terdapat beberapa masyarakat yang tidak sepakat dengan inovasi karena adanya sentimen negatif seperti kegiatan syirik, penggagas yang bukan orang asli Polowijen dan adanya anggapan bahwa kampung ini menjadi kampung komersial

English Abstract

This research is motivated by a phenomenon where in 2015 East Java Province became the highest province with extinct art. The emergence of a Polowi�en Cultural Village encourages people to love culture through new ways. This new way is called innovation. The researcher then took the title "Analysis of the Process of Diffusion of Innovation in the Polowi�en Cultural Village in Polowi�en Village, Blimbing District, Malang City". Have the formulation of the problem, namely how is the process of innovation decisions in the Polowi�en Cultural Village, Polowi�en Village, Blimbing District, Malang City? ". The purpose of this research is to find out how Polowi�en individuals or groups of people know, behave, decide, implement and confirm the innovation of the Polowi�en Cultural Village. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods that take data from interviews, books or other literature and other supporting data. The data obtained will then be processed using descriptive analysis methods. Then this study was analyzed using the theory of innovation decision processes according to Everett Rogers. According to research that has been carried out that in the Polowi�en Cultural Village there are several decision processes from individuals or groups to an innovation. The community began to know innovation because of information from agents of reform. Then the Polowi�en community began to like innovation and did not like innovation. But in the process, there are some people who disagree with innovation because ofnegative sentiments such as shirk activities, initiators who are not genuine Polowi�en people and there is an assumption that this village is a commercial village
