Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perspektif aging anxiety anggota TNI dalam menghadapi masa pensiun. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif fenomenologi. Subjek penelitian dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan kriteria minimal berpangkat letnan kolonel. Jumlah subjek yang dibutuhkan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 3 subjek primer dan 3 subjek sebagai sekunder. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis Boyatsiz. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari dimensi fear of old people ketiga subjek tidak takut menjalin hubungan dengan orang yang lebih tua disekitarnya. Selain itu, ketiga subjek mengaku takut melihat lansia yang sakit, mereka takut nantinya mereka akan mengalami hal yang sama. Dimensi psychological concern menunjukkan bahwa ketiga subjek sudah puas dengan karir yang mereka raih dan berhasil menjalankan tugas dengan baik. Ketiga subjek juga sudah mempersiapkan rencana untuk mengisi waktu luang pada saat mereka pensiun. Dimensi physical appearance menunjukkan bahwa kedua subjek mengalami adanya penurunan kekuatan fisik, namun salah satu subjek belum mengalaminya. Dimensi fear of lose menunjukkan bahwa ketiga subjek mengalami penurunan kesehatan. Kedua subjek mengaku takut kehilangan teman-temannya karena meninggal. Selain itu, ketiga subjek mengakui bahwa mereka takut adanya penurunan gaji yang mereka terima setelah pensiun.
English Abstract
This research purpose is to find out aging anxiety perspective of Indonesian National Army about retirement by using qualitative research method of phenomenology. The subject was chosen by purposive sampling technique with minimal in lieutnant colonel rank. The number of the subjects in this research were 6 subject (3 subject as primary subject and 3 subjects as secondary subjects). interview were methods that was used to get data for this research. Data collection methods used in this study was interviews. The data analysis technique used is Boyatsiz's analysis technique. The results showed that from the dimensions of fear of old people the three subjects were not afraid to establish relationships with older people around them. In addition, the three subjects said they were afraid to see elderly people who were sick, they were afraid that later they would experience the same thing. The psychological concern dimension shows that the three subjects were satisfied with the career they had achieved and successfully carried out their duties well. All three subjects have also prepared plans to fill their spare time when they retire. The physical appearance dimension shows that both subjects experience a decrease in physical strength, but one subject has not experienced it. The fear of lose dimension shows that all three subjects experienced a decline in health. Both subjects claimed to be afraid of losing friends because they died. In addition, the three subjects admitted that they feared a decrease in the salary they received after retirement.
