Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan academic adjustment pada mahasiswa psikologi lulusan SMA peminatan IPA dan IPS. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif komparatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah non-probability sampling dengan desain penelitian accidental sampling. Jumlah total sampel sebanyak 173 mahasiswa psikologi lulusan SMA peminatan IPA dan IPS. Alat ukur yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Student Adaptation to College Questionnaire (SACQ) yang disusun oleh Baker & Siryk (1984). Hasil analisis pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (p-value 0,015, p<0,05), sehingga dapat disimpulkan terdapat perbedaan academic adjustment pada mahasiswa psikologi lulusan SMA peminatan IPA dan IPS.
English Abstract
This study aims to determine the differences in academic adjustment in psychology students graduating from science and social studies specialization high school. This research is a kind of comparative quantitative research. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling with research design accidental sampling. The total sample is 173 psychology students graduating from science and social studies specialization high schools. The measuring instrument used in this study was the Student Adaptation to College Questionnaire (SACQ) compiled by Baker & Siryk (1984). The results of the analysis in this study indicate that (p-value 0.015, p <0.05), it can be concluded that there are differences in academic adjustment in psychology students graduating from Science and Social Sciences specialization high school.
