Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan prokrastinasi akademik terhadap prestasi akademik pada mahasiswa Universitas Brawijaya Malang. Penelitian ini melibatkan sebanyak 100 subyek mahasiswa Universitas Brawijaya sebagai responden penelitian dengan metode accidental sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif korelasional dengan analisis product moment pearson. Prokrastinasi akademik diukur menggunakan skala prokrastinasi akademik dengan koefisien reliabilitas sebesar 0.890 sedangkan prestasi akademik diukur menggunakan laporan akhir semester (IP) responden terakhir. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan taraf signifikansi sebesar 0.005 (p<0,05) sehingga hipotesis alternatif diterima, dengan nilai korelasi sebesar -0.280 yang berarti terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara prokrastinasi akademik dengan prestasi akademik pada mahasiswa Universitas Brawijaya Malang.

English Abstract

This study aim to determine the relationship of academic procrastination to the academic achievement on college student University of Brawijaya Malang. There were 100 participants is college students University of Brawijaya Malang, with accidental sampling method. This research uses correlational quantitative method with product moment pearson analysis. This research used academic procrastination scale with reliability coefficient equal to 0,890 to measure resilience, while academic academic achievement use final report from respondens. This study showed a significant result with a significance value 0.005 (p <0.05). Alternative hypothesis, with the value of -0.280, which means there is a negative relationship between academic prokrastinasi with academic achievement on college students University of Brawijaya Malang.
