Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang gerakan Front Pembela Islam (FPI) dalam Aksi Bela Islam tahun 2016 di Jakarta. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis latar belakang serta pola yang terjadi dalam pelaksanaan Aksi Bela Islam yang dilakukan oleh FPI. Aksi Bela Islam muncul karena adanya kasus penistaan agama yang dilakukan oleh Basuki Tjahaya Purnama (BTP). Penelitian ini menggunakan teori tentang gerakan sosial, teori mobilisasi sumber daya, dan teori proses politik. Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus intrinsik. Teknik analisis pada penelitian ini adalah penjodohan pola dan deret waktu, dan menggunakan triangulasi untuk teknik keabsahan data. Hasil penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa gerakan sosial yang dilakukan oleh FPI ini dikategorikan sebagai mobilisasi sumber daya, model political interactive. Dalam melakukan aksinya, FPI menggunakan kekuatan yang ada pada internal organisasinya untuk melakukan gerakan. Selain itu terdapat jaringan politik, jaringan kelompok keagamaan, dan jaringan kelompok kepentingan yang ikut serta dalam membantu FPI. Pada aksi ini, selain motif membela agama, terdapat motif ekonomi dan politik yang tersembunyi. Sebab dibalik gerakan ini terdapat ketidakpuasan atas sikap arogansi dari kebijakan publik BTP sebagai Gubernur DKI Jakarta. Hal tersebut dianggap merugikan beberapa pihak, termaksud FPI. Akibat hal ini memunculkan kebencian terhadap BTP, sehingga melalui momentum penistaan agama, kelompok yang terkena kerugian dari kebijakan BTP, bergabung bersama FPI dan umat Islam dalam Aksi Bela Islam. Tujuannya adalah untuk mengintervensi proses hukum melalui proses politik, supaya BTP dapat dipenjara.

English Abstract

This study discusses the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) movement in the 2016 Islamic Defending Action in Jakarta. The purpose of this study was to analyze the background and patterns that occurred in the implementation of Islamic Defendant Action carried out by FPI. The Islamic Defendation Action event arose because of a blasphemy case carried out by Basuki Tjahaya Purnama (BTP). This research uses social movement theory, resource mobilization theory and political processes. The method of this research is descriptive qualitative with intrinsic case study approach. The analysis technique in this study is the pairing of patterns and time series using the validity technique of triangulation data. The results of this study show that the social movements carried out by FPI are categorized as resource mobilization, political interactive model. In carrying out its action, FPI uses the strength of the internal organization to carry out movements. In addition there are political networks, religious group networks, and networks of interest groups who have participated in assisting FPI. In this action, besides the motive for defending religion, there are hidden economic and political motives. Because behind this movement there is dissatisfaction with the attitude of arrogance from BTP's public policies as the Governor of DKI Jakarta. This was considered detrimental to several parties, including FPI. As a result of this, there has been resentment towards BTP, so that through the momentum of blasphemy, the group affected by the BTP policy joined the FPI and the Muslims in the Islamic Defensive Action. The aim is to intervene in the legal process through a political process so that BTP can be imprisoned.
