Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis daya dukung lingkungan di Kawasan Hutan Lindung Sekaroh Kabupaten Lombok Timur. Kawasan hutan lindung ini memiliki potensi wisata yang tengah dikembangkan pemerintah, beberapa objek wisata yang ada di kawasan ini di antaranya adalah: Tanjung Ringgit, Pantai Pink, Pantai Segui, Pantai Penyisuk dan Pantai Sunut. Metode yang digunakan adalah perhitungan berdasarkan rumus Cifuentes (1992) yang termodifikasi terdiri dari Daya Dukung Fisik (Physical Carrying Capacity/PCC), Daya Dukung Riil (Real Carrying Capacity/RCC) dan Daya Dukung Efektif (Effective Carrying Capacity/ECC). Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi/survei lapangan, studi literatur, pembagian kuisioner serta wawancara terbatas. Hasil perhitungan daya dukung lingkungan kawasan wisata untuk kegiatan piknik di Kawasan Hutan Lindung Sekaroh memperoleh nilai PCC sebesar 765.004 pengunjung/hari; nilai RCC sebesar 34.489 pengunjung/hari dan nilai ECC sebesar 14.830 pengunjung/hari. Daya Dukung Riil dan Daya Dukung Efektif tersebut masih belum termasuk perhitungan variabel indek diversitas flora dan fauna karena disebabkan kesulitan memperoleh data. Namun begitu, nilai ini dibandingkan dengan jumlah rata-rata pengunjung aktual saat ini yaitu 60 pengunjung/hari masih jauh di bawah nilai daya dukung efektif hasil perhitungan. Berdasarkan nilai daya dukung efektif yaitu nilai yang telah mempertimbangkan faktor kondisi biofisik lingkungan dan kapasitas menejemen, maka pengembangan obyek wisata di Kawasan Hutan Lindung Sekaroh ke depan masih dapat dapat dioptimalkan, dengan salah satunya melalui optimalisasi jumlah pengunjung sesuai daya dukung efektif sebesar 14.830 pengunjung/hari (yang belum termasuk variabel indeks diversitas flora dan fauna), sehingga keseimbangan kondisi lingkungan dengan aktivitas wisata dapat tetap terjaga dan berkelanjutan.
English Abstract
This research was conducted to analyze carrying capacity in Sekaroh Protected Forest Areas, East Lombok. This protected forest areas have a tourism potential that was developed by the government, there are several tourist attractions in this area include: Tanjung Ringgit, Pink Beach, Coastal Segui, Coastal and Beach Penyisuk Sunut. The method used is a calculation based on the formula Cifuentes (1992) modified consist of the Physical Carrying Capacity/PCC, Real Carrying Capacity/RCC and Effective Carrying Capacity/ECC. Data collected through observation/field surveys, literature, limited distribution of questionnaires and interviews. The result of the calculation environmental carrying capacity of tourist areas for picnic activities in Sekaroh Protected Forest Areas obtain PCC value of 765.004 visitors/day; RCC value amounted to 34.489 visitors/day and ECC value of 14.830 visitors/day. The results of RCC and ECC have not included the calculation varieties of flora and fauna as it causes difficulties in generating data. This value is compared to the average number of actual visitors current 60 visitors/day is still far below the effective carrying capacity. Based on the effective carrying capacity value that has considered the factors biophysical environment and capacity management, the development of tourism in Sekaroh Protected Forest Areas forward can still be optimized, with one of them through the optimization of the number of visitors appropriate effective carrying capacity amounted to 14.830 visitors/day which have not included the calculation of diversity index of flora and fauna, so that the balance of environmental conditions with tourist activities can be maintained and sustained.
