Ramadani, Dhody Pazar (2018) Pengaruh Komposisi Molecularly Imprinted Polymers (MIP) Poli Vinil Alkohol (PVA)-Fe3O4 Terhadap Kinerja Sensor Diazinon. Sarjana thesis, Universitas Brawijaya.

Abstract

English Abstract

The effect of the composition molecularly imprinted polymers (MIP) as a receptor membrane on the performance of diazinon sensors has been studied. MIP is made of poly vinyl alcohol (PVA) 5% (w/v), glutaraldehyde 4% (v/v), citric acid 5% (w/v), Fe3O4 5% (w/v), and diazinon. The amount of diazinone added in MIP PVA-Fe3O4 is 0.01% (w/w); 0.02% (w/w); and 0.03% (w/w). MIP PVA-Fe3O4-diazinon was superimposed on the surface of the screen printed carbon electrode (SPCE) type carbon electrode with a size of 4.7 cm x 1 cm as much as 5 L and heated for 1 hour at 50 0C. Each sensor was tested using diazinone solution in the 10-12 –10-5 M concentration range. Sensors with the best sensitivity were tested for pH changes at pH 1, 2, 3, 4 and electrolyte type changes at phosphate buffer pH 2, phosphate buffer-KCl pH 2, HCl pH 2. The results showed that the composition of MIP PVA-Fe3O4-diazinon had an effect on the diazinon sensor. The best sensitivity of the sensor is produced at the amount of diazinone in MIP PVA-Fe3O4 by 0.02% (w/w). The pH and type of electrolyte have an effect on the performance of the sensor. The best sensitivity of the diazinon sensor produced was 33.8 mV/decade at pH 2, in the phosphate-KCl buffer solution with a concentration range of 10-12 –10-5 M with a response time of 150 seconds.
