Abstract
Melakukan pendataan alumni ketika masuk pada dunia kerja merupakan hal yang harus dilakukan oleh setiap program studi. Alumni yang mendapatkan pekerjaan sesuai dengan bidang keahlian yang dimiliki dapat membantu program studi untuk mendapatkan saran yang relevan. Selain mendapatkan saran yang relevan setiap program studi juga dituntut untuk memiliki akreditasi yang bagus. Salah satu parameter yang ada pada penilaian akreditasi adalah penelusuran jejak alumni. Namun dalam hal ini terdapat kesulitan dimana data yang didapat adalah data hard file sehingga perlu proses tambahan untuk dapat mengelola data tersebut. Akibatnya adalah proses yang ada akan menjadi lebih panjang. Untuk menyelesaikan permasalah tersebut diperlukan suatu sistem yang dapat melakukan pendataan serta pengelolaan data alumni. Rational Unified Process (RUP) merupakan metode pengembangan sistem yang dipilih karena pada metode tersebut semua proses kontrol perubahan dapat dilakukan pada setiap fase yang ada. Sehingga dapat mempermudah dalam melakukan perbaikan secara cepat dan memiliki dokumentasi yang baik. RUP mempunyai beberapa tahapan, diantaranya inception, elaboration, construction, dan transition. Proses pengujian sistem dilakukan dengan beberapa metode. Metode metode yang digunakan diantaranya adalah black box testing, compatibility testing serta user acceptance testing (UAT). Hasil pengujian user acceptance testing (UAT) mendapatkan nilai sebesar 90% dari total alumni yang mencoba sistem ini. Penggunaan metode tersebut memiliki beberapa alasan. Pada metode black box testing memiliki fungsi untuk menguji pada fungsionalitas sistem, sedangkan compatibility testing digunakan untuk menguji sistem ini dapat berjalan pada berbagai media browser. Pengujian user acceptance testing bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengguna dapat menerima sistem yang sudah dibangun. Sistem yang sudah dikerjakan mampu menjawab permasalahan pendataan yang dialami oleh kemahasiswaan FILKOM. sehingga pendataan menjadi lebih mudah. Kesimpulannya adalah sistem informasi tracer study diterima dengan baik oleh pengguna sistem.
English Abstract
Do data collection when entering working world is sould be done in every study program. The graduate that can get the corresponding job with areas of expertise wich are owned can help study program to get the relevan suggestion. Not only that, but every study program also be accused to have good accreditation. One of parameter accreditation rating is follow up the graduate tracking. but the big case is almous data is hard file, so need more procces to get the data. In fact the proccess to get the data is longer. To solve this problem is need one best sistem that can doing the data while classify the management data of graduate. Rational Unified Proccess (RUP) is development method sistem that chosen, because on this all changed controll proccess can do in every step. So make it easy to correct fastly n have a good dokumentation. RUP have some stage, such as inception, elaboration, construction and transition. Testing proccess sistem is doing with some method. such as blackbox testing, compatibility testing serta user acceptance testing. The result of test UAT get score 90% from all the graduate that traying this sistem. the conclution is tracer information sistem is received well by sistem user. The use of this method has several reasons. In the black box testing method has a function to test the system functionality, while compatibility testing is used to test this system can run on various media browsers. User acceptance testing testing aims to find out how much the user can accept the system that has been built. The system that has been worked on is able to answer the data collection problems experienced by FILKOM's students. so data collection becomes easier. The conclusion is that the information system tracer study is well received by system users.
