Abstract
SD Brawijaya Smart School merupakan lembaga pendidikan terpadu yang menumbuhkembangkan potensi diri peserta didik melalui pemanfaatan terapan teknologi informasi yang inovatif dan kreatif. Namun, untuk media pembelajaran di kelas VI pada mata pelajaran Sains materi Tata Surya yang diterapkan masih bersifat standar dengan menggunakan buku paket dan kertas bergambar seperti sekolah dasar pada umumnya. SD Brawijaya Smart School belum memiliki media pembelajaran yang lebih efektif untuk dipergunakan pada kegiatan belajar mengajar. Sehingga solusi yang diterapkan yaitu dengan mengembangkan sebuah media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia interaktif menggunakan model APPED. Tahapan penelitian jenis R&D (Research and Development) dari model APPED adalah melakukan analisis dan penelitian awal, perancangan, produksi, evaluasi, dan diseminasi. Dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran diperlukan software yang kompatibel, baik dalam penanganan objek-objek multimedia maupun dalam penanganan keinteraktifan. Adobe Flash Professional sangat memungkinkan untuk dimanfaatkan sebagai sarana media pembelajaran yang akan dikembangkan dalam bentuk CD (Compact Disk) interaktif. Hasil uji dari ongoing evaluation diperoleh bahwa semua komponen media pembelajaran telah berjalan dengan baik sesuai dengan aspek fungsi, aspek isi serta aspek tampilan dan telah dinyatakan valid oleh pengembang. Hasil uji dari alpha testing validasi ahli materi didapatkan penilaian persentase 95,5%, validasi ahli instruksional 92,5%, dan validasi ahli media 88,8% yang masuk pada kriteria penilaian “Sangat Baik” atau dinyatakan valid oleh para ahli. Sedangkan hasil uji dari beta testing menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata pre-test peserta didik masih di bawah KKM, yaitu sebesar 65 dan mengalami kenaikan nilai rata-rata post-test menjadi 90 yang berada di atas KKM serta dinyatakan “Tuntas”. Sehingga dari hasil tersebut bisa disimpulkan bahwa produk Multimedia Pembelajaran Interaktif (MPI) lebih efektif digunakan dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar.
English Abstract
Brawijaya Smart School Primary School is an integrated educational institution that fosters students' self-potential through the use of innovative and creative information technology. However, for learning media in class VI in Science subjects the Solar System material applied is still standard by using textbooks and illustrated paper like elementary schools in general. Brawijaya Smart School Primary School does not yet have a more effective learning media to be used in teaching and learning activities. So that the solution applied is to develop an interactive multimedia-based learning media using the APPED model. The stage of R&D (Research and Development) type of the APPED model is to carry out initial analysis and research, design, production, evaluation and dissemination. In developing learning media, compatible software is needed, both in handling multimedia objects and in handling interactivity. Adobe Flash Professional is very possible to be used as a learning media tool that will be developed on interactive CD (Compact Disk). The test results from the ongoing evaluation show that all components of the learning media have been running well in accordance with the aspects of the function, aspects of the content and appearance aspects and have been declared valid by the developer. The test results from the alpha testing material expert validation found a percentage rating of 95.5%, instructional expert validation 92.5%, and 88.8% media expert validation which entered the criteria of "Very Good" or declared valid by experts. While the test results from beta testing show that the average pre-test value of students is still below the KKM, which is equal to 65 and has increased the average value of the post-test to 90 which is above the KKM and declared "Completed". So that from these results it can be concluded that Interactive Multimedia Learning (MPI) products are more effectively used in teaching and learning activities.
