Abstract

Pada penelitian ini telah dikembangkan rangkaian trigger switch eksternal pada OYO McSeis-3 dengan harga yang terjangkau dalam skala laboratorium. Trigger switch dikembangkan menggunakan shock sensor SW-420 dan sensor MEMS Accelerometer MMA7361L. Trigger switch dikembangkan memanfaatkan rangkaian transistor sebagai switch untuk bekerja. trigger switch berbasis shock sensor dan trigger berbasis MEMS accelerometer diperlukan berbeda, pada shock sensor tidak diperlukan rangkaian filter dikarenakan keluaran sensor berupa sinyal digital sedangkan untuk MEMS digunakan rangkaian pasif filter highpass karena keluaran MEMS berupa sinyal analog. Selain filter perlakuan lain untuk MEMS accelerometer adalah menggunakan sumber tegangan eksternal untuk bekerja. Dari pengujian yang dilakukan dengan menyadap keluaran rangkaian trigger switch yang dihubungkan pada OYO McSeis-3 didapatkan respon waktu yang sama antara shock sensor dan MEMS accelerometer yaitu sekitar 0,01 detik. Hasil pengujian ini lebih cepat sekitar 0,02 detik dibandingkan dengan trigger switch bawaan OYO McSeis-3 yang mempunyai respon waktu 0,03 detik.

English Abstract

An external trigger switch circuit on OYO McSeis-3 has been developed in this research for laboratory scale with reasonable price. Trigger switches were developed using the SW-420 shock sensor and MEMS Accelerometer MMA7361L sensor. Trigger switches are developed utilizing transistor circuits as switches to work. trigger switch based on shock sensor and MEMS accelerometer needed different, in shock sensor not required filter circuit because sensor output is digital signal while for MEMS used passive filter highpass filter because an output of MEMS is an analog signal. In addition to other treatment filters for MEMS accelerometer is to use an external voltage source to work. From the test conducted by tapping the output of trigger switch circuit connected to OYO McSeis-3 got the same time response between shock sensor and MEMS accelerometer which is about 0.01 second. This test results faster about 0.02 seconds compared to the default triggers OYO McSeis-3 which has a response time of 0.03 seconds.
