Abstract
Teori Permainan adalah suatu pendekatan matematis untuk merumuskan situasi persaingan dan konflik antara berbagai persaingan. Salah satu metode dalam teori permainan adalah keseimbangan Nash. Dalam penelitian ini akan dibahas tentang menentukan keseimbangan Nash pada media sosial dan mengetahui strategi optimal yang dibuat oleh masing-masing media sosial. Media sosial yang menjadi alternatif adalah Whatsapp, Line, BlackBerry Messenger (BBM), dan Facebook. Menentukan nilai keseimbangan Nash dengan menyelesaikan matriks payoff berukuran 4×4 menggunakan metode dominasi menjadi 2×2. Setelah itu, dapat diselesaikan dengan keseimbangan Nash murni atau campuran. Strategi optimal yang dibuat oleh salah satu media sosial yaitu Whatsapp adalah semakin mudahnya berkomunikasi atau berinteraksi dengan orang lain.
English Abstract
Game Theory is a mathematical approach to formulate the situation of competition and conflict between various competition. One method in game theory is Nash's equilibrium. In this research will be discussed about determining Nash's equilibrium on social media and knowing the optimal strategies created by each social media. Social media that became an alternative is Whatsapp, Line, BlackBerry Messenger (BBM), and Facebook. Determining Nash's equilibrium value by completing a 4x4 payoff matrix using the dominance method to 2 × 2. After that, it can be solved with a pure Nash equilibrium or mixed. The optimal strategy created by one social media that is Whatsapp is the more easy to communicate or interact with others..
