Abstract
Pembelajaran Keterampilan Klinis (skill) adalah salah satu metode pembelajaran Program Studi Sarjana Universitas Brawijaya. Pembelajaran keterampilan klinis bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan perilaku profesional yang diharapkan akan berkembang sejalan dengan pembelajaran skill yang akan di dapatkan pada masa studi pre-klinik. Pembelajaran keterampilan klinis memberikan fasilitas kepada mahasiswa untuk berlatih sebagai bekal sebelum memasuki dunia profesi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa mengenai peran pembelajaran keterampilan klinis terhadap perilaku profesional. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif observasional dengan pendekatan cross-sectional pada 289 responden. Data dianalisis dengan uji Mann Whitney untuk jenis kelamin dan uji Kruskal Walis untuk perbedaan IPK(Indeks Prestasi Kedokteran Kumulatif) dan lama masa pendidikan. Dari uji Mann Whitney untuk perbedaan laki-laki dan perempuan di dapatkan probabilitas 0,050. Uji Kruskal Walis untuk perbedaan IPK didapatkan probabilitas 0,166 serta untuk perbedaan berdasarkan lama masa pendidikan didapatkan probabilitas 0,508. Hasil penelitian menunjukan mahasiswa memiliki persepsi positif mengenai peran pembelajaran keterampilan klinis terhadap perilaku profesional pada mahasiswa Program Studi Sarjana Kedokteran Universitas Brawijaya.
English Abstract
The clinical skill leaning is one of the methods applied in the medical education at the study program of medicine, Brawijaya university. This is intended to foster professional behavior that is projected to develop along the line of student’s skill learning course during the pre-clinical stage. The clinical skill learning provides students with opportunities to train their clinical skills and equips them with the skills before taking a professional medical carrier. This research aimed to find out the students’ perception of the roles the clinical learning plays in shaping their professional behavior. This study employed a descriptiveobservational design with cross-sectional approach to 289 respondents. The data were analyzed by using Mann Whitney to determine the difference between male and female, and a Kruskal Walis test was used to find out difference based on the GPA and duration of study. The Mann Whitney test for the difference between both sexes showed a probability values of 0.050. The Kruskal Walis test for difference on the basis of GPA showed a probability values of 0.166, and for the difference of study durations, the test indicated a probability values of 0.508. The results indicated that students had a positive perception about the roles of clinical skills learning toward professional behavior of the students.
