Abstract

Demamx berdarah denguex(DBD) merupakan salah satu penyakit menular yang disebabkan oleh virus dengue dan ditularkan oleh nyamuk Aedes aegypti. Derajat keasaman (pH) air perindukan merupakan faktor yang sangat menentukan kelangsungan hidup dan pertumbuhan jentik Ae. aegypti dimana jentik akan mati pada pH ≤3 dan pH ≥12. Penelitian lain menyebutkan jenis sumber air yang paling disenangi nyamuk Ae. aegypti sebagai tempat perkembangbiakannya adalah air sumur gali dan yang paling tidak di senangi adalah air PDAM. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pH air dengan persentase keberadaan kontainer positif jentik nyamuk di Kelurahan Sumbersari tahun 2017. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian observaional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel dipilih dengan teknik Multi Stage Sampling. Kelurahan dan RW dipilih secara purposive sampling, dilanjutkan pemilihan RT secara simple random sampling, dan pemilihan rumah sampai memenuhi kuota sampel sejumlah 100. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara jenis pH air dengan persentase kontainer positif jentik nyamuk (df = 2; p < 0,05), jenis pH air dengan persentase jenis spesies jentik nyamuk (df = 4; p < 0,05), dan jenis sumber air dengan persentase jenis pH air (df = 12; p < 0,05).

English Abstract

Dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) is one of the infectious diseases caused by dengue virus and transmitted by Aedes aegypti mosquito. Thexdegree of water acidity (pH) is a definitive factor that correspond with Ae. Aegypti larvae’s life sustainability and growth where the larve will die at pH ≤3 and pH ≥12. Other studies have mention that the type of water source most favored by Ae.aegypti mosquitoes as a breeding ground is water dug well and the least enjoy is water of PDAM. The objective of this research was to discovered the relationship between water acidity (pH) with the percentage of the presence of positive larvae containers in Sumbersari Village 2017. The type of research was an observational analytic study with cross sectional approach. The sample was selected by Multi Stage Sampling technique. Districts and community units were chosen by purposive sampling, continued with choosing for neighborhood units using simple random sampling and choosing for the houses until complete the sample’s minimum quota, which is 100 houses. The result showed that there was a significant correlation between type of water acidity and the percentage of positive mosquito larvae containersx(df = 2, p < 0,05), type of water acidity with percentage of mosquito larvae type (df = 4, p < 0,05), and type of water source with percentage of water acidity type (df = 12; p < 0.05).
