Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur tingkat profitabilitas dan faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat profitabilitas dari pemanfaatan biogas oleh non peternak. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Galengdowo, Kecamatan Wonosalam, Kabupaten Jombang. Desa Galengdowo merupakan desa yang berpotensi untuk dilalukan pengembangan energi biogas. Pemanfaatan kotoran ternak untuk biogas dari peternak berpotensi untuk didistribusikan ke non peternak sehingga mengoptimalkan pengurangan penggunaan energi tak terbarukan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu spatial cluster analysis digunakan untuk mengelompokkan KK non peternak, analisis demand biogas untuk menghitung kebutuhan biogas oleh non peternak, overlay peta untuk menentukan kelompok non peternak yang dapat terlayani, WTP digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi biaya retribusi yang bersedia dibayarakan oleh KK non peternak untuk peternak, ATP digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi kemampuan membayar KK non peternak, dan BCR digunakan untuk mengetahui keuntungan ekonomi yang diperoleh setiap KK non peternak. Berdasarkan pengelompokkan non peternak, terbentuk 246 kelompok non peternak. Total kebutuhan biogas seluruh non peternak di Desa Galengdowo yaitu 300,23 m3/hari sedangkan total sisa supply biogas dari peternak yaitu 421,33 m3/hari. Pendistribusian biogas perlu memperhatikan supply biogas, demand biogas, jarak antara biodigester ke rumah non peternak untuk meminimalkan biaya kontruksi pipa distribusi. Berdasarkan hasil eliminasi kelompok non peternak, terdapat 175 kelompok (312 KK) non peternak di Desa Galengdowo dapat terlayani biogas. Hasil analisis BCR menunjukkan bahwa 25%-28% non peternak tidak mendapatkan keuntungan dan 72%-75% non peternak mendapatkan keuntungan dari pemanfaatan biogas. Faktor yang mempengaruhi nilai BCR yaitu cost berupa biaya instalasi pipa distribusi yang diklasifikasikan berdasarkan jenis dan besar bahan bakar yang digantikan.
English Abstract
The purpose of this study was to measure the level of profitability and the factors which affect the level of profitability from the usage of biogas by non-farmers. This study was conducted in Desa Galengdowo, Kecamatan Wonosalam, Kabupaten Jombang. Desa Galengdowo is a village that has potency to develop biogas energy. The usage of the animal faeces from the farmers having potency in order to distribute to non-farmers. Thus, the usage of unrenewable energy will be optimum. This research used some methods i.e spatial cluster analysis method in order to group the householders who are non-farmers, demand biogas analysis to calculate the non-farmers’ biogas needs, overlay map to decide the group of nonfarmers who were attended, WTP was used in order to identify the fee that was paid by the householders who are non-farmers to the farmers. In addition, ATP was used to identify the householders who are non-farmers’s paid capability and BCR was used to find out the profit that was gained by each householders who are non-farmers. Based on the grouping of non-farmers, there were 246 groups of non-farmers. The total of biogas needs from all non-farmers in Desa Galengdowo that is 300,23 m3/day, while the total from the rest of biogas supply from the farmers i.e 421,33 m3 /day. The distribution of biogas must pay close attention to the supply of biogas, the demand of biogas, the distance between the biodigester to non-farmers’s house in order to minimize the cost of distribution pipe construction. Based on the result of groups of non-farmers’s elimination, there were 175 groups (312 householders) non-farmers in Desa Galengdowo who were obtained biogas. The results of BCR showed that 25%-28% of non-farmers did not gain the profit and 72%-75% of non-farmers gained the profit from the usage of biogas. The factor which affected the BCR value was cost that was the installation cost of distribution pipe that was classified based on the type and the amount of substitute fuel.
