Abstract
Penyakit Gagall jantung salah satunya di sebabkan oleh kurangnya pengetahuan, berbagai hal bisa dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuann pasien misalkan dengan penyuluhan, monitoring mapupun di berikan buku pengingat. Pemberian buku pengingat di harapkan meningkatkan efiskasi diri pasien gagal jantung. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh pemberian buku pengingat terhadap efikasi diri pasien gagal jantung di Rumah sakit islam Unisma Malang. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan pra eksperimen yang di lakukan terhadap 18 pasien yang di lakukan pada tanggal 23 November sampai 7 desember 2018. Alat pengumpul data menggunakan skala GSE yang sudah di modifikasi. Rata rata Efikasi diri pasien gagal Jantung mengalami peningkatan setelah di berikan buku pengingat, Rata – rata Efikasi diri post test lebih tinggi di bandingkan rata – rata efikasi pre testt. Hasil pengukuran efikasi diri pre dan post test menggunakan uji analisi dependent T-test, di dapatkan hasil ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara efikasi diri Pre Testt dan post Test ( p = 0,000 ). Hasil penelitian dapat di simpulkan bahwa pemberian buku pengingat berpengaruh terhadap efikasi diri pasien gagal jantung. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini agar Instansi Rumah sakit memberikan buku pengingat sedini mungkin agar dapat meningkatkan efikasi diri pasien dalam menjalani terapi pengobatannya dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup pasien.
English Abstract
One of the cause of heart failure is the lack of knowledge, henceit is crucial to improve the patients’ knowledge by conducting a counseling, monitoring and or the giving of a reminder book. The giving of reminder book is expected to improve the self-efficacy of the heart failure patients. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of reminder book application on the self-efficacy of heart failure patients in the Islamic Hospital of Unisma Malang. The research design was the Preexperimental design. This study was conducted from November 23th to December 7th 2018, and the number of respondents was 18 patients. The instrument for data collection was using modified GSE scale. The result showed that the patients’ selfefficacy was increased significantly after being given with reminder book. Descriptively, this finding is showed by the increased mean score of the post-test, which is then validated by the result of t-Test that demonstrated the probability value of 0.000. Therefore, it can be clearly stated that there was a significant difference between the patients’ self-efficacy before and after being given with reminder book. Heart failure patients are strongly suggested to be given with the reminder book by the hospital management. This is crucial for the enhancement of the patients’ self-efficacy during the therapy, as well as to improve the quality of patients’ life generally.
