Abstract
Zinc phosphate cement adalah bahan semen yang memiliki sifat keasaman yang tinggi, sehingga dapat membuat jaringan pulpa teriritasi. Zinc phosphate cement nano memiliki setting time yang lebih cepat dari zinc phosphate cement konvensional sehingga menyebabkan reaksi eksotermis atau reaksi panas yang dikeluarkan saat manipulasi menjadi semakin cepat. Setting time yang cepat, akan diikuti oleh working time yang cepat pula. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan setting time dan working time antara zinc phospate cement konvensional dengan zinc phosphate cement nano. Penelitian ini terdiri dari 20 sampel zinc phosphate cement yang dibagi menjadi 4 kelompok. Kelompok I merupakan 1 scoop (0,318 gr) zinc phosphate cement konvensional dengan 3 tetes liquid, kelompok II merupakan 1 scoop (0,386 gr) zinc phosphate cement nano dengan 4 tetes liquid, kelompok III merupakan 1 scoop (0,386 gr) zinc phosphate cement nano dengan 3 tetes liquid, sedangkan untuk kelompok IV merupakan 1 scoop (0,386 gr) zinc phosphate cement nano dengan 2 tetes liquid. Setiap sampel dilakukan pengadukan dengan gerakan melingkar dari powder ke liquid. Perhitungan working time dan setting time dilakukan menggunakan stopwatch dengan skala detik. Hasil uji one way anova dan uji korelasi-regresi menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara setting time zinc phosphate cement konvensional dan zinc phosphate cement nano, tetapi terdapat perbedaan yang tidak signifikan antara working time zinc phosphate cement konvensional dan zinc phosphate cement nano.
English Abstract
Zinc phosphate cement is cement that has a high acidity, so it can irritate the pulp. The setting time of zinc phosphate cement nano is faster than conventional zinc phosphate cement, so it will cause the exothermic reaction or the heat reaction that is produced during manipulation become faster. The faster setting time will be followed by faster working time too. The aim of this study was to evaluate the difference of setting time and working time between conventional zinc phosphate cement and nano zinc phosphate cement. This study consist of 20 samples of zinc phosphate cement that divided into 4 groups. Group I was 1 scoop (0,318 gr) of convensional zinc phosphate cement with 3 drops of liquid, group II was 1 scoop (0,386 gr) of nano zinc phosphate cement with 4 drops of liquid. Group III was 1 scoop (0,386 gr) of nano zinc phosphate cement with 3 drops of liquid, and group IV was 1 scoop (0,386 gr) of nano zinc phosphate cement with 2 drops of liquid. Each sample is manipulated in circular motion from powder to liquid. Setting time and working time were measured by stopwatch in second scale. One way anova and correlation-regression result showed that there was a significant difference of setting time between convensional zinc phosphate cement and nano zinc phosphate cement, but there was no sifnificant different of working time between convensional zinc phosphate cement and nano zinc phosphate cement.
