Abstract
Air Susu Ibu (ASI) merupakan makanan tunggal bagi bayi pada 6 bulan pertama kehidupannya. Pemberian ASI secara eksklusif sangatlah penting untuk pertumbuhan, perkembangan, kesehatan dan imunitas bayi. Pada tahun 2015, cakupan pemberian ASI eksklusif di Kapubaten Blitar adalah 72,99%. Jumlah tersebut mengalami penurunan dari tahun 2014, yaitu 85,4%. Masih kurang maksimalnya pemberian ASI eksklusif dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor antara lain kurangnya pengetahuan ibu tentang ASI eksklusif dan kurangnya dukungan keluarga. Pengetahuan ibu tentang ASI eksklusif sangat penting untuk membentuk perilaku ibu dalam memberikan ASI. Dukungan keluarga juga sangat penting dalam mencapai keberhasilan menyusui secara eksklusif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti hubungan dukungan keluarga dan tingkat pengetahuan ibu tentang ASI eksklusif dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif pada bayi usia 0-6 bulan di wilayah Kabupaten Blitar. Desain penelitian ini adalah analitik observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Teknik sampling penelitian ini menggunakan teknik multistage sampling untuk menentukan lokasi penelitian dan teknik consecutive sampling untuk pemilihan sampelnya. Total sampel penelitian ini adalah 24 ibu menyusui yang memiliki bayi usia 0-6 bulan. Informasi terkait dukungan keluarga, tingkat pengetahuan ibu tentang ASI eksklusif, dan pemberian ASI eksklusif diambil dengan wawancara menggunakan kuesioner. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji statistik non parametrik Spearman diperoleh nilai p sebesar 0,791 untuk variabel dukungan keluarga dan nilai p sebesar 0,428 untuk variabel tingkat pengetahuan ibu tentang ASI eksklusif sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan antara dukungan keluarga dan tingkat pengetahuan ibu tentang ASI eksklusif dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif pada bayi usia 0-6 bulan di wilayah Kabupaten Blitar.
English Abstract
Mother’s milk is the only one food for infants in the first 6 months of life periode. Exclusive breastfeeding feed is important for growth, development, health and immunity of the infants. In 2015, the prevalence of exclusive breastfeeding feed in Blitar Regency was 72,99%. The amount declined from 2014, that was 85,4%. Exclusive breastfeeding feed is still can not be maximal because it is influenced by several factors like the lack of mother knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding and the lack of family support. Mother’s knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding is very important to shape the mother’s behaviour in breastfeeding. Family support is also important for achieving the success of exclusive breastfeeding. This research was aimed to determine the relationship of family support and mother’s level of knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding toward exclusive breastfeeding feed for infants aged 0-6 month in Blitar Regency. This reseacrh design was analytic observational with cross sectional approach The sampling method of this research were using multistage sampling to determine the research location and using consecutive sampling to choose the sample. Total sample of this research was 24 breastfeeding mothers who had infants aged 0-6 month. The data of family support, mother’s level of knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding, and exclusive breastfeeding feed were taken by interview with questionnaire. Based on the results of the analysis with Spearman test were obtained p value with amount 0,791 for family support variable and p value with amount 0,428 for mother’s level of knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding so it can be concluded that there is no relationship between family support and mother’s level of knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding toward exclusive breastfeeding feed for infants aged 0-6 month in Blitar Regency.
