Abstract
Siswa SMA termasuk dalam tahap remaja pertengahan yang memiliki tugas perkembangan, namun dalam pecapaianya ada beberapa permasalahan yang di alami remaja yaitu salah satunya masalah gangguan perilaku. Bullying merupakan gangguan perilaku destruktif dan agresif. Faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku bullying salah satunya adalah harga diri karena merupakan hal penting sebagai pembentuk perilaku. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan harga diri remaja dengan perilaku bullying pada siswa SMA. Dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif korelasional pendekatan crossectional, dengan teknik sampling purposive non random sampling dan besar sampel 81 siswa. Data diambil menggunakan kuesioner. Analisa data menggunakan uji korelasi Rank Spearman dengan variabel univarian harga diri dan perilaku bullying. Berdasarkan analisa didapatkan hasil hubungan antara harga diri remaja dengan perilaku bullying pada siswa SMA dengan nilai signifikasi (p-velue) 0,000 dan nilai korelasi (r) -0,456 yang menunjukkan arah hubungan negatif dan kekuatan sedang. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubugan dimana semakin tinggi harga diri remaja maka semakin ringan perilaku bullying. Saran bagi pihak sekolah perlu adanya kebijakan untuk menekan perilaku bullying dan mengajarkan siswa untuk meningkatkan harga dirinya.
English Abstract
Senior high school students are belong to the stage of the middle adolescent who have the developmental tasks, but in accomplishment there are some problems that experienced of teenager, one of them is problem of behavioral disorders. Bullying is a disorder of behavior destructive and aggressively . There are some factors to influence bullying, which the factor is self-esteem because it is the important thing as a create of behavior. Purpose to find out the correlation of adolescent self-esteem with bullying behavior in senior high school students. Method this study used descriptive quantitative correlational crossectional approach design, with purposive sampling technique non random sampling and 81 totally sample students. Data were collected using questionnaires. Data were analyzed using Rank Spearman correlation test with self estivand and bullying behavior as univarian variable. Results based on the result analysis showed there is a correlation of adolescent self-esteem with bullying behavior on high school students with p-value 0.000 and correlation value (r) -0.456 showed negative direction of relationship and medium strength. Conclusion there is a correlation, where the higher the self-esteem of the adolescent so that mild bullying behavior. Suggestions for the school necessary create the policy to suppress bullying behavior and to teach the students how to increase their self-esteem.
