Abstract

Developmental care diperkenalkan sebagai model pengasuhan bayi untuk meminimalkan efek buruk lingkungan NICU melalui pengelolaan lingkungan perawatan dan observasi perilaku sehingga bayi mendapatkan stimulus adekuat. Pengetahuan dan keterampilan perawat tentang developmental care salah satunya diperoleh melalui pelatihan dengan metode yang tepat.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui perbedaan pelatihan metode demonstrasi dan kombinasi aplikasi seluler terhadap pengetahuan dan keterampilan perawat perinatologi RSUD Bangil. Desain penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen, pretest and posttest nonequivalent control group. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh perawat perinatologi yang belum mendapatkan pelatihan developmental care, teknik sampling dengan total sampling yaitu sebanyak 20 perawat dengan 10 perawat pada masing-masing kelompok (demonstrasi dan kombinasi aplikasi seluler). Data dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner dan lembar observasi. Hasil analisa univariat, skor rata-rata pengetahuan dan keterampilan kedua kelompok sebelum intervensi tidak jauh berbeda dan mengalami peningkatan setelah dilakukan pelatihan dengan skor rata-rata pengetahuan dan keterampilan kelompok kombinasi aplikasi seluler lebih tinggi dari pada kelompok demonstrasi. Hasil uji t dependen pada masing-masing kelompok terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan skor rata-rata pengetahuan ataupun keterampilan sesudah intervensi (p= 0,000). Sedangkan hasil uji t independen didapatkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan pada pengetahuan (p=0,317) dan keterampilan (p=0,524) antara kelompok demonstrasi dan kombinasi aplikasi seluler, artinya kedua metode memberikan efek yang sama terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan perawat Perinatologi RSUD Bangil tentang developmental care. Saran untuk peneliti selanjutnya adalah pemberian rentang waktu lebih lama dalam proses adaptasi pembelajaran dengan aplikasi seluler untuk memperoleh peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan perawat yang lebih baik.

English Abstract

Developmental care was introduced as a baby care model to minimize the adverse effects of the NICU environment through environmental management of care and behavioral observation so that babies get adequate stimulus. One of the nurses' knowledge and skills about developmental care was obtained through training with the right method. The present study is aim to determine the differences in the training of demonstration methods and the combination of mobile applications to the knowledge and skills of the perinatology nurse at Bangil Hospital. This is quasi-experimental design research by using pretest and posttest nonequivalent control group design. The research population was all perinatology nurses who had not received developmental care training with total sampling technique. The samples size were 20 nurses, with 10 nurses in each group (demonstration and combination of mobile applications). Data was collected by questionnaire and observation sheet. The results of univariate analysis, the average score of knowledge and skills of the two groups before the intervention were not much different and experienced improvement after training with the average score of knowledge and skills of the mobile application group was higher than the demonstration group. The results of the dependent t test in each group have a significant increase in the average score of knowledge or skills after the intervention (p = 0,000). While the results of the independent t test found that there was no significant difference in knowledge (p = 0.317) and skills (p = 0.524) between the demonstration group and the combination of mobile applications, meaning that the two methods had the same effect on improving Perinatology nurses' knowledge and skills at Bangil Hospital about developmental care. Suggestions for the next researcher are giving a longer time span in the process of adaptation to learning with a mobile application to get a better increase in nurses' knowledge and skills.
