Abstract
Tape ketan putih adalah makanan yang dianggap tabu untuk di konsumsi oleh ibu hamil karena memiliki kandungan alkohol paling tinggi diantara tape jenis lainnya. Alkohol dapat memberikan dampak negatif terhadap plasenta, namun belum terdapat penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai efek alkohol yang terkandung dalam tape ketan terhadap plasenta. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian air tape ketan putih terhadap berat dan histologi plasenta tikus. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimental murni dengan rancangan penelitian Post Test Only Control Group Design. Sampel pada penelitian diambil secara random sampling sebanyak 20 ekor tikus bunting yang selanjutnya dibagi kedalam 4 kelompok; satu kelompok kontrol (K), dan tiga kelompok perlakuan yang dibagi menjadi 3 kelompok dosis air tape ketan putih (P1=20 mL/KgBB; P2=30 mL/KgBB; P3=40 mL/KgBB). Paparan yang diberikan yaitu air tape ketan putih dengan kandungan alkohol sebesar 2.79% yang diberikan pada hari ke-1 sampai dengan hari ke-19 kebuntingan. Pada hari ke-20 tikus dikorbankan lalu dilakukan pengambilan sampel plasenta dan penimbangan berat plasenta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata berat plasenta pada tikus mengalami penurunan namun tidak signifikan (p= 0,178) jika dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol. Pemberian air tape ketan putih dengan kadar alkohol 2,79% dapat mengakibatkan penipisan zona labirin dan atrofi sel trofoblas pada zona tersebut terutama pada kelompok P3. Kesimpulan: kandungan alkohol air tape ketan putih tidak berpengaruh terhadap penurunan berat plasenta tikus namun dapat memicu kerusakan sel trofoblas pada zona labirin plasenta tikus
English Abstract
White glutinous rice is a food that is considered taboo to be consumed by pregnant women because it has the highest alcohol content among other types of glutinous rice. Alcohol can have a negative impact on the placenta, but there is no further research into the effects of alcohol contained in white glutinous rice to the placenta. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine the effect of white glutinous rice water on the weight and histology of rat placenta. This research uses true experimental design with Post Control Only Control Group Design. Samples in the study were taken by random sampling of 20 bunting rats which were then divided into 4 groups; one control group (K), and three treatment groups divided into 3 groups of white glutinous rice (P1 = 20 mL / KgBB; P2 = 30 mL / KgBB; P3 = 40 mL / KgBB). Exposure given is white glutinous tape water given on the day-1 until the 19th day of pregnancy. On the 20th day the mice were sacrificed and placental sampling and weighing the placenta were taken. The results showed that average placental weight in mice decreased but not significant (p = 0.178) when compared with control group. The provision of water of white glutinous rice with alcohol content of 2.79% can lead to depletion of labyrinth zone and trophoblast cell atrophy in the zone especially in P3 group. Conclusion: the content of tarted white glutinous rice water alcohol has no effect on the decrease of rat placenta weight but can trigger trophoblastic cell damage in labyrinth zone of mouse placenta
