Abstract
Kadar hemoglobin di dalam tubuh jika jumlahnya ≤12 g/dL akan mengakibatkan terjadinya kejadian anemia. Kejadian anemia sering timbul pada kelompok usia remaja, terutama pada remaja putri. Terdapat banyak faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi tinggi rendahnya kadar hemoglobin, diantarnya adalah asupan makronutrien seperti protein dan asupan mikronutrien seperti zat besi serta tembaga. Tembaga merupakan salah satu mineral yang berfungsi membantu penyerapan zat besi. Sedangkan zat besi sendiri merupakan zat gizi mikro yang sangat penting bagi tubuh untuk fungsi biologis dan pembentukan sel darah merah. Kemudian zat besi dapat di bantu oleh protein yang berfungsi sebagai katalisator untuk pembentukan hemoglobin di dalam tubuh. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui hubungan asupan protein, zat besi, dan tembaga secara simultan terhadap kadar hemoglobin pada remaja putri di SMA Negeri 5 di Kota Malang. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian analitik observasional dengan rancangan cross-sectional. Menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah responden remaja putri 62 responden. Asupan protein, zat besi, dan tembaga pada penelitian ini dilihat menggunakan kuesioner SQ-FFQ. Sedangkan kadar hemoglobin dilihat dengan menggunakan metode cyanmethemoglobin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 58,1% responden memiliki asupan protein cukup, 98,4% asupan zat besi responden kurang, dan 59,7% responden memiliki asupan tembaga cukup. Sebanyak 85,5% responden memiliki kadar Hb normal. Hasil korelasi diuji menggunakan Pearson dan menghasilkan asupan protein terhadap kadar Hb (p = 0,268), zat besi terhadap kadar Hb (p = 0,277), dan tembaga terhadap kadar hemoglobin (p = 0,615) sehingga nilai p > 0,05. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan antara asupan protein terhadap kadar hemoglobin, zat besi terhadap kadar hemoglobin, dan tembaga terhadap kadar hemoglobin pada remaja putri di SMA Negeri 5 di Kota Malang.
English Abstract
Hemoglobin levels in the body if amount of ≤12 g/dL will result in the occurrence of anemia. The condition of anemia often occurs in adolescent age, especially in female adolescent. There are many factors that can affect the high level of hemoglobin, including macronutrient intake such as protein and micronutrient intake such as iron and copper. Copper is one of the minerals that serves to help the absorption of iron. While iron is a micro nutrient that is very important for the body for biological function and the formation of red blood cells. Then iron can be aided by proteins that serve as a catalyst for the formation of hemoglobin in the body. The purpose of this research is to know the correlation of protein, iron, and copper intake simultaneously to hemoglobin level in female adolescent in SMA Negeri 5 in Malang City. The study design of this research was an observational analytic study with cross-sectional design. Using sampling technique that is purposive sampling and respondents needed for research are 62 respondents. Data collection included data on protein, iron, and copper intake using SQ-FFQ and hemoglobin level data using cyanmethemoglobin method. The result showed that 58,1% respondents had normal protein intake, 98,4% respondent had low iron intake, and 59,7% respondents had normal copper intake. As much 85,5% respondents had normal hemoglobin level. Result of correlation test between protein intake to the Hb level (p = 0,268), iron to the Hb level (p = 0,277), and copper to the hemoglobin level (p = 0,615) p> 0,05 using Pearson test. So It can be concluded that there is no correlation between protein intake to the hemoglobin level, iron intake to the hemoglobin level and copper intake to hemoglobin level in female adolescent in Senior High School 5 in Malang.
