Abstract
Penelitian berjudul “Kajian Sastra Pastoral terhadap Teks Lagu Anak Ciptaan Ibu Sud” ini mencoba memberikan terobosan untuk menanamkan jiwa cinta lingkungan sejak dini sebagai langkah pencegahan perluasan kerusakan lingkungan di masa mendatang. Penelitian bertemakan sastra lingkungan ini menggunakan pendekatan ekokritik sastra. Data dianalisis menggunakan landasan teori sastra pastoral dan dibahas secara deskriptif kualitatif pada bab pembahasan. Berdasarkan analisis, ditemukan unsur-unsur pastoral dalam teks lagu anak ciptaan Ibu Sud berupa unsur bucolic, konstruksi arcadi, dan wacana retreat and return yang membuktikan bahwa teks lagu yang dianalisis sarat nilai-nilai peduli lingkungan diantaranya sikap tanggung jawab terhadap alam, solidaritas kosmis, prinsip kasih sayang dan kepedulian terhadap alam, prinsip tidak merugikan alam, prinsip hidup sederhana dan selaras dengan alam serta sikap hormat terhadap alam yang terwujud dalam kesanggupan menghargai alam kesadaran bahwa alam mempunyai nilai pada dirinya sendiri, serta penghargaan terhadap alam untuk berada, hidup, tumbuh, dan berkembang secara alamiah sesuai dengan tujuan penciptaannya. Temuan tersebut berkontribusi untuk implementasi pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan sebagai media dalam proses belajar-mengajar di sekolah menggunakan kurikulum 2013, yakni pada pembelajaran teks deskripsi SMP kelas VII Semester 1 KD 3.2 dan 4.2.
English Abstract
This research, entitled, “A Pastoral Analysis on Children’s Song Lyrics by Ibu Sud”, tries to create a breakthrough to plant a nature-loving attitude since early age as a step to avoid the expansion of environmental damage in the future. This research with the theme of environmental literature uses a literal ecocritic approach. The data are analyzed using a theoretical basis of pastoral literature which is explained through a descriptive-qualitative method in the chapter of analysis. Based on the analysis, the writer found some pastoral elements in he children’s song lyrics by Ibu Sud, which consist of bucolic elements, acradi construction, also the retreat and return discourse which proves that the text analyzed is filled with the values of environmental awareness, including the behavior of being responsible for the nature, cosmic solidarity, the principle of love and care for the nature, the principle of not damaging the nature, the principle of living simply and harmoniously with the nature, also being respectful towards the nature, which is shown by the willingness to respect the nature and being aware that the nature has its own values, also respecting the nature to exist, to live, to grow, and to develop naturally according to the purpose of its existence. These findings will contribute to the implementation of building characters in caring for the environment as a media in the teaching and learning process at school, using the 2013 curriculum, especially in the learning of description texts for junior high school students, grade VII semester 1, in the 3.2 and 4.2 basic competences.
