Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali secara lebih dalam mengenai minat pegawai untuk melakukan tindakan whistle-blowing system yang dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan perusahaan sebagai upaya dalam mencegah dan mendeteksi tindakan fraud pada Kantor Perwakilan Bank Indonesia Malang. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Data diperoleh dengan cara wawancara. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pegawai berminat untuk menggunakan whistle-blowing system dikarenakan memiliki kewajiban untuk melapor, selain itu memiliki tanggungjawab moral dan sosial. Sementara lingkungan kekeluargaan dapat membentuk suatu budaya sungkan yang dapat membuat pegawai tidak berminat untuk melapor menggunakan whistle-blowing system
English Abstract
The objective of this study is to elaborate the intention of employees to exercise whistle-blowing system influenced by company’s environment as the effort to prevent and detect frauds in the Representative Office of Bank Indonesia in Malang. The data of this qualitative were obtained through interviews. The findings of this study show that employees have the intention to exercise whistleblowing system because they have the obligation to report, not to mention their moral and social responsibility. However, closeness among employees makes them do not feel right to report in their colleagues through whistle-blowing system.
