Abstract
Dissociative Identity Disorder merupakan kondisi dimana seseorang memiliki dua atau lebih kepribadian yang berganti ganti, hadir bersama-sama dalam tubuh dan pikiran orang yang sama. Kondisi Dissociative Identity Disorder tersebut tercermin pada film berjudul Roommate karya sutradara Takeshi Furusawa. Dalam film tersebut menceritakan kehidupan tokoh bernama Harumi Hagio yang memiliki lebih dari satu kepribadian. Fokus dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana gambaran Dissociative Identity Disorder tokoh Harumi Hagio. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis dengan menggunakan psikologi abnormal secara khusus Dissociative Identity Disorder melalui gambaran tokoh utama dalam film Roommate. Penulis juga menggunakan teori mise-en-scene untuk menganalisis film lebih mendalam. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam film Roommate yang menggambarkan Dissociative Identity Disorder pada tokoh Harumi Hagio yang terdiri dari 8 kriteria dengan data sebanyak 10 data. Dialog dan adegan menunjukkan gambaran Dissociative Identity Disorder yaitu memiliki dua kepribadian alter lainnya, yaitu Reiko Nishimura dan Mari. Dalam setiap kepribadian atau identitas yang ada memiliki pola perilaku, perasaan, hubungan dan memori bahkan penampilan fisik masing-masing yang bahkan bisa bertolak belakang. Harumi Hagio mengalami kekerasan seksual di masa lampau yang dilakukan oleh kekasih Ibunya, ditambah dengan penyiksaan fisik oleh ibunya sendiri.
English Abstract
Dissociative Identity Disorder is a condition in which a person has two or more alter personalities, present together in the body and mind of the same person. Conditions Dissociative Identity Disorder is reflected in the film titled Roommate directed By Takeshi Furusawa. In the film, a character named Harumi Hagio has more than one personality. The focus in this research is how to describe Dissociative Identity Disorder of Harumi Hagio. This research uses descriptive analysis method by using abnormal psychology specifically Dissociative Identity Disorder through the image of the main character in the film Roommate. The author also uses mise-en-scene theory to analyze the film more deeply. The results of this study indicate that in the Roommate film depicting Dissociative Identity Disorder on Harumi Hagio character who consists of 7 criteria with data as much as 10 data. Dialogues and scenes show the Dissociative Identity Disorder feature of having two other alter personalities, named Reiko Nishimura and Mari. In each personality or identity there are patterns of behavior, feelings, relationships and memory and even physical appearance of each that can even contradict. Harumi Hagio experienced sexual abuse committed by her mother's lover, coupled with physical abuse by her own mother in the past.
